I'm getting there with her taking little steps the vet gave me anxiety meds for her but if I can do it with out I'm going to try. I've gotten her to start hopping into it to eat her meals and she's getting a bit more comfortable. We're leaving her behind for the trip this weekend and then I'll keep working with her and if it soesn't work then meds it'll be. It is a great suggestion though I appreciate it and may have to use it.

We're headed off to Williamsburg this weekend. I drove the truck with the trailer behind it for a total of about 3 hours last Saturday and it was almost like it didn't even know it was behind it. I didn't take it over any mtns like going over to Luray but had a few tests on some big hills and it never skipped a beat. Trying to get money together now for suspension for the truck.

Oh it'll probably take at least that long if the sale of the header goes through tomorrow as planned I should be 3/4 of the way there. Of course then this evening I find a guy selling a best top for half price but the lift is my priority. I sold a spare tire and wheel the other day and now the header both on paypal which was a first for me now I have to figure out how to access the money

Does this count as a mod? I made a seat belt for the shitter. I figured I would want it up and ready to go when we pull off the side of the road instead of some gross gas station.
Also, I have decided to remove the spare. It just doesnt make sense to have it so easily accessible for somebody to steal.
Security is a big thing, maybe I am overthinking it. This thing is so lightweight (which is awesome for the user) that it doesn't take much to move it really fast. I purchased the Proven Industries hitch cover. I watched the videos of the other junk on the market and was sold. 225 bucks hurt though.
I also got the BAL leveler chock, it is really nice, easy to use and convenient.
I think I am going to get the inverter/generator from Harbor Freight. 500 bucks. Lots of reviews, all very good. It seems like a lot of people that know more than me had good things to say about it, with some educated responses other than "works great."

Headed to New Mexico this weekend for the maiden voyage - Taos, Tent Rocks, Bisti Badlands and lots of other stuff inbetween. It will be cooler I hope so that I don't need to worry about A/C. Looking forward to this, already planning Big Bend National Park in Texas in October.

Also, I will post some reviews of some stuff I have purchased like a RUMPL blanket, a camp chef stove etc. I use www.outdoorgearlab.com for places to start when decided what to buy. 20170830_190837.jpg 20170830_191638.jpg 20170830_191643.jpg

I like the Proven Industries lock.
I would look into a spare tire lock too, some states it is illegal to travel without a spare for your trailer.

I have it in my truck bed with tonneau on. Also it makes using the box and getting on the roof easier without the bulky tire right there

Is there that much chances to have it stolen?

100% agree with hitch lock! Trailers worth too much money to spit on a lock! But imo maybe only a bicycle cable through rim and wrapped around the frame of the trailer should take care of it.

We made it! Had to set up in the pouring rain and got wet but between the awning and east up we have plenty of dry space. This campground not as pretty as the other was. Everybody in here tighter together but a very nice facility. They told me they had free cable so I brought the little tv from the kitchen to watch since getting all this rain.

I would rather ditch the cable if it meant that the neighbors weren't in my lap.

    Where is that?
