Does this many people really need gas right now? I passed by 5 or 6 gas stations and all were lined up onto the road with the exception of 1 station that was out. A coworker went out after our meeting this morning and said there was 80 cars at the Racetrac waiting to fill up. Another left at 10 and still hasn't returned. How many gallons of gas are people burning waiting in lines to top off? WFAA said an official with the fuel industry said there are no actual supply shortages and no reason to panic. A gas station in Garland was $3.99 for regular and $4.99 for premium. Why is this ok (supply&demand) and not considered illegal price gouging?

Yah there is 7 gas stations around me here in Saginaw and ft worth all are empty..if the news didn't get everyone in a panic it would not had been a big deal everyone getting gas at once..last night I had to get gas in my truck and I saw a guy filling 5 gallon water jugs..5 in his trunk and 4 in his back seat

I walked back by the station that was 3.49 and a guy was filling up a few 5 gallon containers while there was a line of cars waiting.

Are you going to be a last minute decision on BMRA this weekend?

Yeah I could work from home if I had to. I can take my bike just about anywhere in Grapevine to get what I need if I have too. I suspect this will all be over in a day or so once the routing from different refineries happens.
