on oem, it's the rubber around the bearing, not the bearing itself that wears allowing it to move all ovee, right?

Can i just cut away the rubber and insert some high durometer polymer within the bracket?

We are.. It's pretty crazy down by the University but out here in the suburbs it seems pretty mild. Probably a result of all the old roads out there and City of Memphis' poor maintenance. There was water up to my ankles just walking back to my truck in the UofM parking lot today

Got some good learning experience yesterday. A buddy and I installed a new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and rebuilt trans into a 93 ton dodge truck. Neither of us had ever done it before. Very straightforward process. Wasn't "easy" because the trans and T-case each probably weighed upwards of 100lbs. Would be impossible without a transmission jack. Image our trucks' tiny little transmissions would be a breeze.

water didn't get bad in memphis. I've seen worse flooding from big thunderstorms.
Wind took down some trees and power lines but even that wasn't too bad. Storms a fews months ago had already thinned out the weak trees pretty well.

 

If I keep wheeling like I do, , and I will, I'll need a new clutch soon.

 

It rained last night and still is a bit this morning. Couldn't tell that it got bad.

I think we're just gonna get wet. Really wet. 2-3" of rain expected from the paid liars

 

Not bad at all like daniel said. Water is gone, no major damage.... just a shit load of leaves everywhere. The wind was gnarly as hell last night.
