That's funny about Richmond. I applied to CC Sheriffs way back in the day while I was going to school for Criminal Justice...intro class shows a video about "Richmond is in the top 5 most dangerous cities in the US for a police officer", quick googling during video, CC Sheriffs cover Richmond as well. Kinda glad that one didn't work out lol

 

Coco covers north richmond.hell of a place.then coco covers part of east richmond heights, million dollar houses. So at any time you can go from war zone to the ritz..all in a 10 min ride

 

If you ever get bored look up the " richmond cowboys" that was some shit back in the day. I know the guy that held all the info from the undercover fed, just in case he came up missing.

The safest cities aren't hiring. Those cops got it made, so no turnover. It's the roughest cities that are hiring. Oakland, where I live, for instance, is hiring. It ain't boring if you're a cop in the hood.

 

I know many cops, and they said it just isn't the same these days. Many of them have moved on.

me too, i used to live in Hayes St. by taco bell and the body shop, not to far from there.

New to Tacomas and TW! Currently looking to replace the saggy leaf springs on my 2002 DCSB 2.7l Prerunner. I am reading around in the suspension forum but someone suggested I ask here. Do any of you have and recommendations for replacement leaf springs on 1st gens? I am trying to read up but I am pretty new at this. Any help is appreciated!

Wheelers, OME, Deaver and a few others all make 1st gen Rear leaf packs. I run OME on my 2nd gen. Others here run deavers and All-Pro packs. Lots of options. Depends on your specs, capacity, lift, etc. everyone requires different.
