I could see myself living in Australia, but only USA aside from that.

I'm on almost 1 acre, well, septic, in a 1700 sqft house, with a 700 square foot unfinished basement. My home cost less than a townhouse in Manassas.

    So...

I'm on 400 acres with a 980 sq ft house. Well water and wood stove heat.

I don't own the land though, wish I did - I only lease. And my house in tiny haha.

Western Loudoun. I could not afford to buy my land, I just get a crazy good deal on the lease because I worked for the landowner for a long time. I work in Manassas now though. My wife and I are looking out Warren, Rappahanock, Fauquier, Culpeper at houses.

I live in Warren. I like it here. A LOT. I miss Augusta county VA though, and bath county

My Mother is from Page Co, and her family still owns a farm there. Beautiful area and much more enjoyable lifestyle than NOVA. Unless you like traffic and crowded bars.

Damn I hope you don't take more than two day vacations if that's truly the case. I love the USA just as much as the next dude, but you are selling yourself short if you don't get out every once in a while unless foreign language and culture is that intimidating.

I go on camping vacations. But I just like to keep going to NYC. 1, because I have family, and can stay for free. 2, because there is always something new to do there.

I like to go places with my truck or bike. I dont want to be stuck on a boat, or take a plane where I am not near my stuff.

On the cruise, I really just wanted to go back and mow my lawn. Also why I dont want to let someone else drive me places, because I want to be in control of when I leave. If not, then I am sitting around waiting on someone else. That is not fun.

So you wanted to leave the cruise early just so you could mow the lawn? Man that's more depressing than even my old man. Different strokes for different folks I guess. Atleast you won't have to worry about ever spending coin on travel.
