I never trust them. I would rather just look down and get an actual reading.

Structures are really fun when they are on fire, but when the fire goes out and you have all the overhaul it blows.

    Checking in!

Almost have my FF1. I do have my EMT-B, many wildland and structure certs too.

Currently not working cause I've been doing school, but hopefully I'll be getting back out there.

Worked for: West Point Fire District (CA), Twain Harte Fire District (also CA), and was an intern for Cosumnes Fire in Elk Grove, CA.

you guys can have that wildland crap, we get a few small ones where i volunteer at, but none where i work which is the great thing about being in a city IMO. I got to go out in 07 with FEMA to cali for a week and help out. My hats off too you wildland guys. its a diff jungle that i just didn't enjoy lol. But there is nothing better then multi alarm commercial structure and being on the truck company FUN FUN.

Ggraduated the fire academy in Reno, NV back in '06. Spent a year as a FF, but now loving life as a Paramedic in a private ambulance service. We now carry extrication tools on the ambulance and are looking forward to some hydraulic tools in the near future, maybe even a booster line! The FF vollies around here aren't going to like that! :D
