Keystone State Thread

Took 6 weeks vacation in 1980/81 to go cross country with the missus and 3 kids in a 98 Ford econoline towing a pop-up camper. That trip was a "Chevy Chase Winter Vacation" script and maybe someday I'll write a book on it. But while driving through Nebraska it was so cold, we had to pull into a rest area and fire up the little propane heater we had just to get warm. As for driving straight through, my longest run was Orlando Florida to Southampton, PA in 21 hours stopping for fuel, food and P-stops. Wife's allergy's were so bad she couldn't drive.

 

I did the Orlando run from here in December 2014 in the tC with the whole family. Left at 8pm Friday night and got to the Grand Floridian at 1pm Sat afternoon. 17 hours straight. It helped that everyone else slept most of the trip.

I don't know about anyone else but I LOVE road trips! I'd drive to Utah tomorrow if I could.

I don't know about South America though - adventurous for sure but not my jam.

Now I am to the point I just drive if I am getting paid it seems.

I get home Friday most likely don`t leave till it is time for Work.
