Corolla does, loudly. Learned the hard way in a one-day rental (before I got a 4Runner) during my 73 incarceration for rear diff leak.

I think it's coming to the 2018 as a standard option.

No longer a light poser! After having my ditch lights mounted a little over a week, I finally had a chance to wire them up and installed the thingy for switches with my CH4x4 switches. Very happy with how easy the install was and how clean it looks.

Without counting the headlights, I'm up to 12,000 lumens of foward facing light. I'm pretty pumped about that.

    stuff and things...
Truck finally looks like a truck. Goodyear Wrangler Authority 265/70/17C. Got them from walmart thanks to the heads up from @moe2o4. BUT it wasn't that simple...

8/13 -After spending an hour or so in walmart and on the phone with various other walmarts in the area nobody had them in stock. Came home, hopped on TW and saw that some people had luck ordering them online and calling customer service to price match. Ordered them online and called customer service who unfortunately couldn't price because nobody had them in stock.

Rep told me to just keep the order open and when they came in they would price match it at the store. Figured that was fine because even if they didn't I would just return them (and be super sad). Estimated delivery date was 8/25. Website would never update past "shipped" and provided no tracking information but I kept the faith.

8/26 -I was in the area so I stopped by the store to see if they came in. Was told they weren't there and they don't deliver freight on the weekends so check back Monday.

8/30 -Went to the store again and told they were in. Asked the cashier about a price adjustment and he said no problem, he'll just need a manager's approval. Manager A comes over and tells me they can't do it because the tires were on clearance because they were sitting there for years and these tires were new. I said, that doesn't make sense, if you scan those tires right there what do they come up as? He scanned them and they came up $45. He then proceeded to get Manager B who agreed with me UNTIL she heard the online price vs the in store price. I told her the dollar amount should not have any effect on it, we're talking about the policy.

Manager A kept on going about the clearance, so I asked him if they were on clearance because they were no longer carrying that model anymore. He confirmed that, and then didn't have an answer as to why he lied to me previously about the tires sitting there for years.

I called customer service from inside the store and she proceeded to tell me she couldn't do anything because she was an in-bound call only, she would have to move this up to her manager, who would talk to the store manager and get back to me in 24-48 hours. This point I was done and said fine, thanks for not really helping, please put a note in the file that I think it is ridiculous that different CS reps have different abilities.

Thanked the cashier because he was a very nice guy who was trying to be helpful and he agreed with me about the situation. Refused to sign the pickup slip and headed home. Got an email that said "thanks for picking up your order" -_-

Back on the phone with CS to place a note or something that states I did not pick them up, they are still at the store, and I am waiting to hear from managers. I then go through the whole situation with her. She says she can call the store and check on the price for a price adjustment. Awesome, and I tell her I know they have stock at the store because the manager said he had another tire. She brings me in on the call to the store and I listen to the whole thing. It's manager A and I can tell he's pissed about the whole thing.

He's going off about it's a clearance tire and he only has one left and once that one is gone they're going back to their full price. He gets off the phone and the CS rep apologizes and says they cannot price match clearance prices. I ask her to verify that in the policy and email it to me. I then check the price online for that store and all it said was "in-store price -$45". I argue with her for about 10-15 minutes to get it adjusted and end up saying just cancel it. Give me my refund, the tires are at the store.

    Cry myself to sleep.

This morning, get a call from the Tire Dept. manager. Which is weird because I thought I was dealing with them yesterday, but I guess that manager A might not have been the manager, or they have multiple managers, whatever. Super cool lady, wants to know why she has unsigned pickup slips for an order that was marked picked up, and giant tires. I explain the situation and she says she'll be there until so and so time, come pick them up and she'll do a price adjustment. I verify the $45 each, and she says yeah, that's what they ring up as, I want these things out.

Get there, she asks if they've already issued a refund, which they have. So she sells me the tires for $45 each.

Took it to a buddy's tire shop and get them mounted.

    Finally.

At least if you use the retro rubber and change your mind in the future, it won't be half bad ripping them apart again.

51" of rain in less that 24 hrs will do that! Per the news 15 trillion gallons of water over 4 days.
It’s enough to cover the entire state area of Arizona in more than a foot of water!

USAA gave me a settlement of $38k! 2016 with 30k miles on it.
Part of my comprehensive insurance is, in the case of a total loss USAA gives another 20% over the fair market value. It was $6k +.
That extra charge for insurance, $1.50 per month, was worth it....better part was I didn't even know I had that! When I checked my policy...I was like no way...dude!

Called Toyota Truck Master Dean Mahalati at Toyota West in Columbus, Ohio yesterday since I bought my current Taco from him last April for $3500 off MSRP....no one in Texas could touch that price last year.
Priced out the same vehicle, moonroof and all, Quicksand this time....he found one being built like what I had before....ready in 2 weeks. $36,517 out the door....does not include TTL and Texas sales tax.
Only down side is it's a boring as hell 2 day drive back to Texas....yeehaaw.

And Harvey's evil step sister Irma is already at Cat 3 hurricane out in the Atlantic....

This time truck will be at the top of the driveway.....
