My plan...1" toytec block in rear, 5100 all around, and level the truck. 17x9 fuel grey vector wheels with ko2s.

Anyone with valid experience please chime in with feed back, and pictures. Also, in need of some tire size advice. Will 285/70r/17 be too large for that lift? Fuel wheels quality?

    Thank you for your help!

Would not do block in rear, if you level it and throw bilstien on it you can fit 285x75 no problem, for a full 33 you need to do about 3" and depending and wheel maybe cab mount chop. I have no opinion on FUEL wheels.

Fuel did me WRONG. I’d stay away from any branch of MHT wheels including Fuel.

2 of 4 damaged out of a pristine box. Got 2 replacements after crap customer service waited for my returns. Next 2 had finish chipping off around center caps when I popped them out. Let it go.

Mounted them with the recommended lug nuts. All 4 wheels had holes drilled off center, they all wobbled at any speed!! It was visible they were not centered around the hub, even though the lug nuts were centered perfectly in the holes. Gap on one side of the hub, touching on the other. I am an engineer, measured them on a CMM. Sure enough, I was right. This is so incredibly dangerous, and I was pissed.

Went with SCS stealth 6 instead. They make an amazing wheel.

I agree with him, I would also check out Method, and VTX wheels. Rich from VTX is amazing. Hit him up on Instagram and tell him dezmade sent you from tacoma world. He will hook you up.

I think Method is another MHT wheels brand. They have the same address at least...

And isn’t VTX supposedly just a knock-off of SCS?

I love the look of the scs ray 10 wheels, but I'm just confused why they are always sold out. I contacted the company and from what I get they receive stock only so often? I don't know if I have that right.

Yes. They only add limited stock every so often. Follow their instagram page for notifications a few days before. It’s kinda hectic, but worth it. WELL worth it. Do yourself a favor and get the right wheels the first time. You won’t be wasting money a few years down the road to make the right decisions again.

Ever bought an iPhone online on release day? Similar concept, smaller scale.

They add it every month or two. The most popular colors sell out in literally minutes, the rest stay around for a little more.

Holy crap dude! I've almost bought the same Fuel Vectors that OP mentioned. I'm sorry you had to deal with that but THANK YOU for relaying the info. At least some good came of that shitty situation.o_O

Maybe it was just a quality issue, but they were sure not interested in giving a damn other than giving my money back.

Kinda glad it happened though, I shudder when I think about how the finish on these wheels would look after a few winters here in Boston...

In general you can just assume fuel is garbage. I've never had them yet, but I haven't heard anything bad about SCS.

And look at the wheels I have now...haha.

    Lesson learned.

    I'd also agree @bradshawnh
Fuel is just a shitty rim, I have chrome fuel hostages on my truck and they are just terrible
They look like they have psoriasas because the pitting is so bad.

I've read a lot on the web about their chroming process just being crappy
Saw stories of people getting pits after a few weeks from brake dust and the company won't give them warranty

5100's 1.65 setting front (real change was slightly under 2 inches)
1 inch block - didnt change anything feeling wise, also barely changed drive line angles. Talk with some guys with taller rear lifts and at certain RPMs vibrations occur.

Take the tape measure to my truck and there is 1/4 inch rake on it. (Front lower)

I've seen a few people go with bigger lifts in rear with 5100's and have them leak out, most probably from over extension. Just my opinion.

Tires if you only want height 255/85/16 -- or 255/80/17.

If you want width Cab mount chop and trimming requires. Not that either is 'hard to do' but some people don't like hacking up a brand new truck.
