Is there a large price and weight difference?

So you would say gun metal over bronze and matte black?

Personally, yes because it's what I like lol but it's your truck and your money. I don't think you can go wrong with either color. The finish on the SCS wheels is amazing.

Ordinarily I'd say SCS; as they are less common; however, most of the photos I've seen lately of 3rd gen tacos have SCS wheels on them....so maybe not?

On an aside, it probably depends on how quickly you want new wheels. You can get Methods from a lot of different places, but SCS sells out of their stock very quickly so there is the potential that you'll be waiting a long time for those.

Either way, have fun shopping :)

Have methods and like them, want to try scs but they're always sold out :( as far as quality I've never seen an scs wheel, but my methods are good. Easy to chip paint on the fake beadlock outer ring. As for weight, in 16x8 the methods are 22.9lbs and scs runs 21.5. Price is almost exactly the same... boils down to what you want!

I went with the Method NV's I just can't jump through the hoops. I love the SCS but damn that's just BS.

I have stock TRD OR wheels. I was looking at a new set of either Method Standards or SCS Ray 10's, but at the moment my $$ is better suited elsewhere.

People also run FN wheels which seem to be in a similar price bracket. That or the TRD Pro wheels from the 4Runner.

    Method all day.

SCS business model is kind of dumb. They lost my business partly due to that.

Both wheels are fake beadlocks. At least methods look real. SCS "rings" looks like they are held on with those brass tack things you use in elementary school to hold paper together.
