I'll probably go, but not sure how many days. Most likely run one day with the truck and 2 on the bike.

I may see if I can get an overnight permit for white rim in the day or two before rock therapy too. I've been wanting to check that out.

no lights would be the only hesitation...i mean winch.... having at least another built rig to tug you off or over an obstacle would be needed

there's a few spots where it could get tippy, not too bad tho... from the last trip I did and I had my CVT mounted, although I was mounted lower than you are https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/holy-cross-trail-colorado.296011/

For those of you who have run the rim rocker, is it a day trip? Or would it be a better plan to camp somewhere in the middle and break it into two days? I'm in no hurry so if two days is better then that is what I will do.

Thanks man. I'm assuming you just camped on the side of the trail? Or did you head off the trail at a certain point to get to a camping spot? Any info you could share would be most appreciated.

We just camped on the trail. There is a lot of cool spots that you can pull off on to camp for the night. @alee891 and @thefatkid did most of the mapping, i just had to get ben through the trails without flopping (which was a failed attempt)

Alright guys here are my tentative plans for the week of Rock Therapy. Let me know if you are interested in joining for all or part of the pre-Rock Therapy festivities. I will continue to update this post as my plans solidify.

Oct 14th: Leave Denver and head to Montrose. Camp in the Montrose area that night
Oct 15th: Begin the Rimrocker trail starting in Montrose. Camp that night somewhere along the trail.
Oct 16th: Finish the Rimrocker and roll into Moab. Stake out a campsite in Moab for the rest of the week/Rock Therapy.
Oct 17th: Start the White Rim trail (overnight camping permit applied for)
Oct 18th: Finish White Rim trail and head back to Moab to join the Rock Therapy festivities.
Oct 19-21: Take in as much as Moab has to offer (specific trail runs yet to be determined)
Oct 22nd: Say goodbye to Moab and book it back to Denver

I think I'm in for the rim rocker for sure and maybe white rim. What sites do you have tentatively?
