Here we thought rain was gonna cancel this weekends trip, turns out its no gas that might ruin it. Seems like the majority of stations around here are empty.

Well I had to go to Point to get fuel since everyone on the way home was out. Filled the Camry the 4runner, 3 of the VP race cans and went back to fill the TACOMA. Only thing with half a tank is the land cruiser.

I passed a Valero at Belt Line and Walnut Hill in Irving at 6pm and regular gas was $4.99/gal with a line of cars in the road. I passed the same station around 9 and still a line but "only" $2.99.

You know that's why stations run out of gas right? Some people can't even get gas for one vehicle. More gas will be here in a day or so.

I drive between 150-200 miles a day so all the cans are really for the Camry since everywhere I went today was out. The truck is my pleasure and 4runner is for the girlfriend to get to work.

I can attest to the fact that @dwaltdtx s system does in fact sound really impressive however. Its an SQL build and you can tell.

10-4. His labor rates are the same as most shops, but quality equipment does run more. I look at it as I've had 3 component sets last me the past 17 yrs and counting and have just moved them from vehicle to vehicle. It's a stretch to call it an investment, but you get what you pay for scenario for sure.

Ok, I'm curious now. What are you running in the truck? Tell me it's JL.

I'm sure it sounds great, but there's a whole lotta room for improvement between the lackluster sound of the non-JBL system without it costing a kidney (or more).
