It's okay, but not great. There are a lot of gas stations sold out and the ones in stock have lines. There are a few that have raised the price, but none are quite "gouging", best I can tell. I overpaid a little to top off the Tacoma, just in case I have to haul some trailers or something. It is an irrational fear, though, that people are experiencing, that's for sure.

I'm going to wait on all of the patch-only orders until next week. It makes it easier to tally up the total and to get the postage for those done all at once. They'll get out early next week, though!

In addition to these suggestions here, we had the Houston Food Bank recommended a number of times. They have a 100% rating on Charity Navigator and over 96% of the charity's expenses go to the programs that they serve. It is local to those affected, too. That is where this batch of funds is going. I appreciate the suggestions provided. When we get a little bigger, we'll be able to raise more money in future efforts and hopefully support more organizations.

A HUGE thanks to all who purchased patches. I'm going back through the orders now to tally up the donation.

 

So far, we've raised $102 and it was just sent in to the Houston Food Bank! We're continuing to donate all revenue from patch sales through this week as well.
