To my knowledge. Seems like I have seen a few reports recently. All the snow is well past melted at this stage of the year.

Always the best way to do it.

If you pass through Kanab, stop at Escobar's for their fish tacos. Delicious.

It's awesome! Some local facebook groups to check out for meet-ups/events, offroad day trips, camping trips:
    - UTOR (Utah Toyota Off-Road) - Kind of the central hub for events. Everyone is in this group.
    - Wasatch Tundras & Toyotas - Group of show-pony trucks, day trippers and taco nights.
    - Microlander Overland - Local group for the multi-day weekend camping and overland chatter.

Anyone in SLC willing to weld some sliders onto my 01' Tundra? I'll pay for your materials/time!

The truck and sliders will be fully prepped. Just need someone to melt them on.

PM me if you can help!

Thanks! Been up here since Sunday, still settling in. I'll probably be in a position to go check some of this out in a few weeks.

Just moved to the Brigham area from Texas to attend USU's aviation program. What are some good moderate trails in the location? Does anyone have a Mysitic Gold 1st gen topper they would like to sell or trade for a white one? And one more thing I have a set of Cooper St Maxx that are almost brand new but I am sure they are going to suck in the snow. What would your recommendations be? I need to get rid of these tires.4A5D2229-2B45-42A6-8D06-E9A2989E4377.jpg

Welcome from a fellow former Texan. Try driving up American Fork canyon. Lots of easy/medium trails to explore in great scenery. Those tires will work fine in the snow. You dont need to worry about "good" snow tires. Just the idiot in the Ford Focus passing you at 70 mph on icy highways.

I too just moved out here. Working in Logan but looking for a place to settle.. either in city or a manageable commute. That drive from Brigham City to Logan through the mountains is really nice! I'm also interested in what trails are available...

I am actually in the process of buying my first house in Garland so I will be taking the Northern route into Logan. I went up to Inspiration Point Last weekend and it was beautiful but it was not very challenging. I am not to fond of tearing my truck up but I don't want almost paved roads either.

You do realize that is an actual snow rated AT tire right. They do well in the snow.

My daugher and I were on Skyline drive about 3-4 weeks ago. At that point, there were still 3 spots with big snow drifts across them, but they were small isolated chunks that just had the luck of being a place where a drift could pile up and then stay pretty shaded. I'd call it a pretty safe bet that you'd find it completely open now.

Come on fellas, where's the Dixie crowd? Or at least the bad-ass trail driving in the SW quadrant of the state?

    Thanks!
