Yup. I wanted to go down there and stand next to the check out stand in some of those places with my asp. And everytime I heard the cashier tell a customer an inflated price, crack him in the forehead till he finally gave an acceptable price.

So, being the cheap sob I am, the lift cylinders on my campershell door are wore out and I didn't want to buy new ones but I got tired of using a stick to hold the door up. So I shopped them in town today and found out there is a huge difference in pricing. One place was almosf $40 ea, another was $25 ea. So for giggles I checked Amazon and got them for $17 for the pair. That's just crazy.

Walmart online had them for the same price as amazon so I asked my son if his store would honor that price and he said no because that online store is like amazon. So instead of making another account and profile with them, I just went ahead with amazon. I've had really good luck with them in the past.

I usually work through holidays so I guess that's why I didn't pay much attention. I guess there's still time. I see some high winds are forecasted for early Sunday morning. With luck I can get called in on Monday and get some double OT out of it.

Good morning all. Running a little behind. Off to get ready. Y'all have a great day.

I did too, but it looks like I'll be working. The double time plus holiday will be nice though.

    Morning East-coasters

We got the caribou all processed into tubs and put in freezer. Holding it until Matt fills his caribou draw tag, then we'll put the two together and process it into hot dogs and sausages.

Back over to Randy's later this morning to put away the last of the gear; then when he leaves for work (swing shift), I think I'm gonna make a field trip to Cabelas, nothing in particular I need, but a couple small wants ... figured I'd take a look at Labor Day sale prices and the bargain cave. Also stop by butcher supply place for another bulk of vacuum bags.

That's my current plan any way.

Agreed on the Monday call in deal. I am working Saturday for the football game @ the university. If I get called in Sunday its double time, if called in Monday it's double time and a half. Will be sitting on my phone!

    Ugh
    Morning y'all
Taco tank is 60% but don't feel like fighting crowds at pumps. My NATO cans should be here today.
I volunteered to drive a company truck full of supplies from Costco down to Arkansas pass tomorrow but don't know if it'll happen.
Still working on a nightmare remodel so I'm going this am to replace tub and shower valve and that's the last of it till set out.
