The Eibach coils are designed to be at the 0'' setting. At that setting you'll get well over 3'' of lift with those coils.

The Eibach coils are made for trucks with a heavy bumper, winch, and skids MINIMUM.

I do NOT recommend those coils unless you have those things up front or are getting them within months of installing the coils. They will provide too much lift otherwise and ruin your CV boots and ball joints.

And definitely do NOT run these coils on any other setting than 0''.

    Holy shit a build update!

    Front locker time! :goingcrazy:

As some know, i literally nuked my front diff a while ago. Haven't had time or money to fix it...UNTIL NOW!

Ordered an ECGS front with 5.29s, solid spacer, bearing upgrade and of course an ARB locker

Takes a lot of diffs to fix frank..

[IMG]Front Locker.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

One is my nuked one. One is the new one. And one is donated by @joshipps as ...well its also nuked. But less nuked then mine in that the housing isn't cracked in 3 places so i can send it in for a core to ECGS. Thanks buddy!

This isn't much of a write up..already done that. BUT here is the photos i wish i had taken last time for people. How to remove the stub shaft.

[IMG]Front Locker-4.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

This is how you pop it out. Takes more force then you want to use.

[IMG]Front Locker-5.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

    Ta Da!

[IMG]Front Locker-6.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

Here is the bearing upgrade. OEM needle Bearing bushing.

[IMG]Front Locker-7.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

    ECGS Bushing.

[IMG]Front Locker-8.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

Not sure i needed it..but what the hell!

Put the stub shaft back in the new diff.

[IMG]Front Locker-9.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

Also transfered my super custom drain plug haha

[IMG]Front Locker-10.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

    All done!

[IMG]Front Locker-11.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

Now to run the air line. I ran the blue line through some thick rubber fuel line to protect it from heat and other things trying to cut it.

[IMG]Front Locker-12.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

Then i ran it to the back of my cab.

Then i started my redo on wiring and air routs for the CO2.

Started with a Paranoid Fab Clock bracket. @paranoid56 thing fits perfect and works great, as usual. Thank you sir!

sprayed it with some bed liner i had lying around.

[IMG]Front Locker-23.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

Waited a long time to see two of these in my truck..

[IMG]Front Locker-24.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

Did the wiring so they actually light up this time.

[IMG]Front Locker-25.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

    Perfect fit!

[IMG]Front Locker-26.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr
[IMG]Front Locker-27.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

    :woot:

[IMG]Front Locker-28.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

Then i decided to move my CO2 bottle so it would be easier to turn on when i needed it to the cab. I built a small manifold as well.

    this was v1

[IMG]Front Locker-2.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr
[IMG]Front Locker-3.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

Which almost worked perfect. But didn't line up right.

So i ended up with this.

[IMG]Front Locker-15.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

    Not bad.

[IMG]Front Locker-16.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

Screwed the mount to my sub box and had all the wires and air line right there at the back of the cab. It'll work for now until i can redo the whole sub/rear seating area.

[IMG]Front Locker.jpg by Monte Nickles Photos, on Flickr

Haven't tested it yet as Frank's leafs are getting a slight refresh with a new AAL as i cracked the last one(again) in half..in 3 places. Plus all my bushings were shot.

Going to do that tonight and tomorrow!

After this. Think i'll spring for a Meth setup for the blower.

    Maybe..not sure.

Yeah i think i'll get a snow kit. I thought about it, but he was missing parts and it was an older one so figured id just get a new one and do it right.

I am running CO2! If you look at the last photo i posted, thats a CO2 bottle! Ox says a 12oz bottle will do 1200ish locker actuations. I have 16oz ones. Plus i carry two 8oz spares.

Indeed! The way to go. Dry air lines

haha it only took me 5 years :anonymous:

    Yeah man! Thanks! big time!

    :anonymous:

Yeah i know. Made that a long time ago. need to redo my bussman too. I'll be replacing it with your panel soon enough!

Got to say, I didn't realize how much I enjoyed reading your pictorial build updates until you stopped doing them there for a while. Guess I like living vicariously through your updates

I miss just building the truck. Working out of state sucks. Not doing that again. Miss tinkering every night.

    Should all change soon though!

This was a weak sauce update too haha been so short on time i haven't been able to do my normal thing. Next time!
