Chasing Classic Cars - he had a 1990 Toyota 4x4 all original. Beautiful. Not a scratch, dent or ding on it, very low miles. Got it from the original owner I believe. He took it to some highbrow auction in New England and didn't get anywhere near what he was expecting. Know your audience.

    I got $600 in it.

It didn't have any belts on it, but the AC, alternator, and powersteering work just fine. The valve cover was leaking oil. The rear drum brakes needed redone. It had 257k miles on it. Other than that and a little rust, it was in pretty good shape.

Change timing belt, it's an interference engine so if it goes then it takes the engine with it.

I know the egg is a bit over done, but the freakin yoke came out of the egg busted so I did the best I could (it could be that since it's a home grown yard bird egg the shell is a little thicker and requires a bit more force to crack, and may have been inadvertently busted upon cracking, but lets not go too crazy with hypotheses)

It's on my list, but not going to happen right away. When we had the valve cover off to replace the gasket, the belt looked to be in really good condition. I don't have the tools to get the crank shaft bolt out otherwise i'd do it on my own.
