Well next week I'll be picking up my first Tacoma. Its a 2007 White access cab,4x4 sr5 and all that stuff. I plan on SLOWLY modding the truck, and wanted yalls input. I'm going to be getting a bull bar for sure, but don't know what finish I want. I have went back and forth on the idea of a black powder coat one and getting a black toolbox as well. I haven't seen any pictures of any like that so it's hard to picture whether it'll look good in my head or not.

If not I might just get the stainless steel one and put a regular finish toolbox in.

Yeah I might full around and try that, but idk.... the way the one that is has already has a real sharp angle at the bottom of it, and not as much space as a normal one. I'll try to find a picture to show you what I'm talkin about. I might need a few pointers though if I do decide to make it black like you were sayin

i have a black bull bar, black grillcraft mesh grill and i a new kickass black toolbox. maybe i can get a pic up for ya. my profile pics are outdated since the new stuff.

eventually i want black panels or rockers on the bottom and black fender flares too.

Just as Tacomaman suggested I'm going to try that Herculiner on the tool box. Just looked at the price and its 100 dollars a gallon . Anybody know where to get a better deal?

Heres a picture of it now-

you can get a can of the herculiner for pretty cheap at pep boys. its not a gallon, but i really doubt you will need that much anyway. and the duplicolor spray cans like socal suggested arent bad either.
