    When I first experienced it it felt like a transmission slipping, so it could be.

    IMO, two different things. I get some shudder when letting out the clutch, it's worse when it's damp out. It's definitely grabbing in my case.

    Been following this thread since the beginning. Really excited to see user feedback from 1.02 release.

    @OVTune are you running a Labor Day sale like you did previous holiday? I'm sure there are members on the fence about purchasing the tune, a little saving might just push us over the edge :cheers:

    SOOO... I read the OEM file from my truck, but not without some fuckery to brighten up my day.

    Long and short of it: WIN7 notified me that the drivers for the dongle were not installed correctly (and hence PCMFlash could not recognize it). A trip to the trusty device manager revealed that windows was refusing to play because the driver's digital signature wasn't Bill Gates approved (code 52 or some shit). A short conversation with my 21 year old son later, and we booted the laptop with that digital signature shit disabled (hammer F8 during boot, you'll see the option on a list). Worked perfect after that.

    If this is old news, well carry on.

    Edit: SO now I hammer F5? :goingcrazy::goingcrazy::goingcrazy::goingcrazy:

    Sorry you had a pain to deal with - I hate Windows. Anything I buy for my Mac just works... whether apple-made or not, but I digress. I used to be a real Windows nerd and purist who thought Mac users were pansies who needed to learn how to use a real computer. But several years later after being forced to use Windows again for tune purposes, nope - windows still blows, but I know it's more flexible and is likely why the dongle/drivers/etc., only work on PC. I had driver and port issues to contend with as well, but the good news is that now it all works easily when I plug it all in. Entry fee is the PIA of getting it set up though... Look forward to your review once Mat gets you the 1.01 file back!

    I completely get the f5 thing, I did it to. Consider this, holiday weekend, 1.02 testing on Tuesday. Seems logical we let Mat focus on that and you guys didn't even need to worry about 1.01B. You get 1.02. I've been waiting for 1.02 since before you clicked purchase. I'm dying to get 1.02.

    Edit: waiting on dongle shipment excused. F5 away

    Is that a real game? Seems more fun than just hitting the F5 key.

    Ok so I'm up and running on 1.01b. Manual transmission. Only a couple short drives so just first impressions. I like it. It is subtle in the extra torque, but you can def feel it. The power delivery feels much smoother through the rpms and ramps up instead of stumbling until 4000 when it would kick in. It still kicks in but the gap has been closed and is more progressive. Gears 1-4 feel great at all rpm and throttle angles. Gears 5-6 on the highway still lack torque to really accelerate on demand but I find it will hold 70mph much easier than in the past when climbing hills. Also the 2200rpm 6th gear stutter when loading it up has been muted. It is still there but it is def not as noticeable or annoying as on the stock tune. Best part of all is the the throttle response. It makes all the difference. if you stab the throttle now it reacts as if it is actually connected, you can actually hear the throttle blade open if you press fast enough. The response all through the range makes it much more enjoyable to drive and you can now heel toe downshift cleanly. I'll be towing tomorrow so I am looking forward to see how the extra torque helps to maintain speed.

    Overall I'm a happy customer and I am looking forward to what @OVTune can pull out with 1.02

    Thanks for your write-up...! This is really just what I'm wanting to hear.

    I think I'm just waiting for 87 and 1.02 to pull the trigger at this point.

    I had same issue. My Norton seems to think it's a Trojan virus. It'll allow me to download the zipfile, but when I unzip it norton would immediately remove the file. I just temporarily disable norton when flashing the tune.
