How did you not notice between 0 degrees castor and 3? It's huge.

 

mine too, but its the effort that changes. Like how much you can let go of the steering wheel out of a corner and how hard the wheel snaps back straight.

Not that should do that, just saying.

 

I've got uca waiting to go in, just waiting on more parts. My caster is off by 2 degrees, it's not bad unless I'm going around a turn in a construction zone. The slight angle seems to "catch" into the imperfections in the road. Hoping the uca fixes it.

 

Paid it off! Sent my last check to the bank today.

Anyone else hit more than the the zerk? Looks like the arm is hitting on the passenger side to.

Anyone mount a Fridge in the back of the Extended cab?
I have a bed platform in the camper shell but it doesn't really allow for a fridge in the bed (unless I do some cutting )

Yep, this. In the cab would be tough on an XtraCab. You'd probably have to put it in the passenger seat. Or you could , and make a suicide door to get into the back. That would be pretty sweet.

 

Quick question guys. Installing a new rack and pinion on my first gen and it came with 2 little o rings and said to replace them on the fittings. But the fittings didnt have any old ones. Is there supposed to be orings on the fittings? And do they get slid over the flanged part if so?

 

Which fridge do you have or are thinking of getting?

I have a 65 quart Whynter mounted behind the passenger seat. It fits snugly with a bit of massaging of the plastic and rear seats (read removed) and the back cab wall . A small person can still sit in the front seat too.

This would not work with an ARB as easily tho because of the way the lid opens on those.

 

Nice. Do you leave it in all the time, even to clean it, etc? Sure would be nice from a dust perspective, etc.

 

Just an FYI to you guys.......

So the PO told me the fuel filter was changed among other things and everything was serviced through Toyota. Interesting. 194k miles possibly on an unknown fuel filter change. Wondering if I can find out if the one I pulled off was from the factory. I actually noticed a big improvement! My idle is better, my afr's, cruising is better and it seems as bit pepper. I have a feeling that filter was problematic. Unbelievable........

Just a rerminder to service your fuel filter guys if you haven't they are like $25 and easy to do 5 minutes. Glad I found this it's cured my truck was sick!

 

I just have no room in the bed when we go on adventures. Yeah, in the cab it is easier to control the environment, including ambient temps and the elements, rain and snow. But it is only slightly less dusty. I do remove it to clean it. But then, I have gotten pretty good at removing the passenger seat to access a lot of things.
