:ohsnap: Hmmm, what is the difference since I just don't know? Also, are the Sport, Off-Road and Pro tail lights all different? What about the SR5's? Educate me please.

For peace of mind I did email the seller and told him, before shipping them, make that the lights are indeed PRO that match the box part numbers. We shall see. Anxiously awaiting his reply. Honestly I went strictly by the part numbers when I bid. I would not pay $300+ for the PRO's. That's why we have both credit card and ebay protection on purchases.

Either way, your purchase is protected... Keep up posted if the seller responds. Maybe they have the wrong picture posted... Or maybe it's a scam... Time will tell.

Yea, i was going to say, email before they ship. Been there, had to do that......Part of the one downside to eBay is they lock you in. Kinda sux at times like this. The protection is key though

Thanks, now I know.......does that mean that the Sport cheese grater grill is actually a darker chrome to match? I thought it was just my transition lenses in my glasses

LOL, I don't see the MESOJDM version listed!

Moved back to the Portland/Vancouver area from Boise! Pretty proud of this truck's ability to tow the 6x12 trailer loaded with a bunch of heavy shit! Only downside was the 9-10 MPGs!

Also, this is my first post in awhile, and since then I have added a Flowmaster 40 Exhaust, and the PIAA ditch lights!

All I can say is, if they turn out to actually be PRO, then I got a killer deal. Nothing ventured nothing gained.Hey I took a chance on a Toyota truck that ended up with a North Korean transmission so you just never know

Haha! Thanks! I missed it here as well, it's nice to be back. Just want all the unpacking to be done so I can focus on more important things like riding my bike and finding some sweet trails for the taco!

*also, hopefully I'll have time to actually do more mods! I missed this thread... haha

Well, before you do it, watch this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93MmQhNwqxk .; Also if you ask me now, would I have done ceramic coating to my truck if I bought a new truck today, my answer would be no. I grew a bit wiser since I got my truck, and any products with the word "coating" I take it with skepticism. My ceramic coatings Hydro repellant feature was only good for about 3 months or so. Do I know whether I have a coating or not?, there is no way for me to check or prove or show it. It's invisible. My truck was brand new, and was shiny when I bought it. It was in the same condition after the coating. Ceramic coating boasts of scratch proof, swirl proof, no fading and all that... only if it is done right and maintained right. Yes, Ceramic coating requires continued maintenance with every wash/month after month with their products to wash, wax, clean etc... Which obviously I am not doing, so if and when it gets scratched or start to show fading, i can't take it upto them saying "your product was supposed to guarantee my truck won't get scratched .." To me that was a disclaimer they added so that people don't bring back their vehicles for repairs on paint damage. So unless you continue buying their product forever for the life of the truck to maintain ceramic or take their word for it. I had mine professionally done. So if I buy a new truck, I'd rather just do clear bra and 3M films over ceramic coating (which I applied to my truck too afterwards).

Well I woke up to this crap this morning. We got some of the aftermath from Harvey last night in Tennessee and my exterior shutter got ripped off and smacked my truck leaving some dents and chips....

So I just got a message from the fab shop that my front passenger shock is leaking. Icon Stage 4s, no significant wheeling or damage that I know of. It drives me to work and back home, so it's not like it's been whacked on anything or damaged in some high-speed baja shenanigans. Anyone got some recommendations on what to do next? I bought my stuff from Toytec last November.

You should not have that much deductible for comprehensive. Maybe on collision. My State Farm comprehensive is 0 deductible.

I qualify but am too lazy to switch insurance companies. You guys may have swayed me into switching.

Why'd you move back? Idaho sounds tempting these days... way too many people in PDX now. Either way, welcome back!!

My Icon (Stage 4) shock leaked a week after original install. They tried to have me ship it back for repair, but after some back & forth calls, I was able to get them to send me a new replacement. It got worked out eventually.
