With all the lifted trucks up in New Hampshire someone has to know a good place to go

Might be worth tossing that heads up in the first post, what do you think?

I am very new to this so my apologies if my questions are basic, but all of my research is making my head spin.

I need new leaf springs (and will get new shocks as well) for my new (to me) 2002 2.7l DCSB Prerunner. Right now I am looking at either the standard AllPros ( ) or the OME Dakars (http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com...Springs-with-Bushings-98-04-Tacoma_p_144.html). I plan to add Bilstein 5100s when I replace the leafs. However, I am confused about one or two things. The different leaf springs have different stated lifts: the Allpros state a 3" lift and the Dakars have a 2.25" lift. Is this in addition to whatever the stock lift on the Prerunner is? OR is it in addition to? I believe the stock lift on the Prerunner is 2" or 3", so does that mean I would lose lift with the Dakars?

Also, the Bilstein 5100s state that they will not work unless the truck is lifted. If I get leaf springs to match the original stock lift of the Prerunner, will they work because the Prerunner is already lifted? Or will I need to lift more?

Again, sorry to ask so many questions. I am actively reading around the suspension forum but still find myself confused.

Sorry, I am new here and still getting used to the acronyms. I thought this was a general suspension BS thread. My mistake.

Sorry for my confusion. While I am here, I hope you don't mind if I ask a question. So you are saying that there is no factory lift on the Prerunners, correct? (and their stock height is a result of other factors?). I feel lost. Sorry to interrupt this thread with something off topic.

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
Stock suspension is not considered lifted. The lift numbers from OME and AP are additional height to the original height of the truck. In this case, the 5100's will work for you. If you lift the rear, you also need to lift the front else you'll be ridin down the road like this / . A little over exaggerating but you get the point. If you do Blstn 5100's front n rear, you can also use OME coils for the front to give you lift. Talk to Marie at @HeadStrong Off-Road to get you going in the right direction. You can also PM me directly if you like as well. Good luck with your new to you truck.

OK perfect, so it looks like they sit at 1.7 degree out of the gate. I just need to find someone who can dial caster in on fixed arms.

This is what it looks like, old tires on new wheels on an old truck with some new front suspension pieces. Next stop is proper alignment and new tires before winter.

Purchased the standard hi caster set but haven't received/installed yet. Wondering if the washer for the bottom of the moogs' boot where it meets the spindle comes with the pair of UCA's? Its pictured w/ the UCA on the website but then there sold separately as well for a few xtra $s

Washer comes with it, and goes on top of the spindle
