I respectfully disagree. Florida Man is actually a small percentage of the total Florida population, though he makes up a large percentage of the news stories. In many of those stories, he meets a horrible fate (usually through his own decisions). The rest of Florida is either military personnel there against their will or old people from northern states simply trying to stay warm.

Meanwhile, California Man tends to be an overly cautious hippocrite (or just plain hippie) who wants everyone to do things his way despite the fact that he's batshit crazy and oblivious to how the world actually works. He tends to not die from his decisions, and is more likely to procreate and make more Californians. Sane people in California often adopt the dress and mannerisms of California Man in order to not stand out and draw unwanted attention.

Or so it seems to Texas Man, who is chilling with a beer and pretty much making shit up as he goes along.

 

I had to travel to New Jersey this week. Always hate flying back east: can't remember a time when I flew back there and didn't have some kind of delay. Left Sacramento Monday morning, stop in Chicago (O'Hare) then onto Newark.

Flight left on time but when we got to Chi town we had to fly circles for 30 minutes before we could land. Once we landed the gates were backed up so we had to sit on the tarmac for close to 40 minutes before we could get off thecplane. Flight to Newark was delayed because the flight crew was on one of the other planes stuck flying circles. O'Hare was a zoo there were so many people crammed in there. Ended up costing us another 2+ hours delay Before we could fly out to Newark. Didn't get out of the Newark airport until around 1am.

I dread traveling by air. It is never a pleasant experience.
