Thank you much for the clarification. I was lost there for a bit. If I am going to end up lifting my truck a bit with this suspension overhaul, and therefore lift the front end with 5100s as well, will I need (or do you recommend) a new coil/spring? Or will the stock coils suffice?

Do I need a BPV bracket that fits my car specifically? Or do BPV brackets generally fit any car/truck?

5100's will use your stock spring to lift to any of the three preset perch locations. giving you a chance set based on your needs. some guys will run new coils, just to keep everything new and avoid any predisposed sag. check out toltec or one for coils. the BPV is one size fits all. only 1st gens have the BPV and the bracket from BAMF will fit your truck.

Not enough to have a build thread.
I believe max lift with 5100s is 1.5". So you'll want to run a preload spacer, coilovers, or a new strut spring combo

I thought I read that the Bilsteins have a max lift of 2.5". Is that correct? If they do have a max lift of 2.5", would I still need a preload spacer? And how do I determine what size of spacer?

When you say I may need to run coilovers, you just mean that I should get a new coil and shock? Or does that mean something different? Still trying to figure all this out over here, ugh. But I appreciate the help! ha.

Nice Rig dude! I like the red. (see question below)

Okay, I am going to have to start a list of all the accessories that I need to but along with the big items. Will I need anything else. On their product page for the Dakars, Headstrong Off Road says that I will also need an exhaust bracket (same thing as BPV?) and u-bolts. Do I need to add these to my list as well?

Do you happen to know what size coils I need for a 1st gen.? Some websites give me a range of sizes to pick from (2880-2883)?

Those are in reference to different length/spring rates on the coils. They're different for what you're looking for. Depends if you have weight up front, bumper, winch etc.

    Check out http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/old-...oad-0-110lbs-springs-1-75-2-00-lift-2880.html

    For info
It looks like 2880 is the base. But check on t the chart halfway down for what you're looking for looking for

I'm buying @tacomgee's relentless mid and trans. skids, so I'll be selling mine.

My relentless fab t-case skid has the basement thing that goes over the crossover pipe. The mid skid is dented, but fixable.
