Thanks! I'm a nurse at Dell Seton at UT. I have found a place. I am tentatively picking up a set of KO2's from a Houston member coming to the meet on the 10th so I may be there. I am not sure yet as I am supposed to move in that day to the new place.

 

Is there an event going on out there?

Absolutely. There are 2 events on the 10th. Tacos & Tacos (cars and coffee) and a lake gathering afterwards. you are more than welcome to come to both. I'll post up the list in one second

$5 per vehicle to park which goes to a charity/organization (see below). This also gets you a raffle ticket for a Autozone bucket of stuff and things. Additionally, this month, PUPPIES!

Chris, how much are the passes so we can pay you back?

We will be doing a Taco Convoy out of T&T at around 10:00 to head to Arrowhead park in Lago Vista for more food and merriment. Chris (@Texoma ) was gracious enough to pick 25 visitor passes for us in advance. The plan is to park Lakefront, grill, drink, swim, etc..

As far as beer options, we're looking at BYOB or pitching in on a keg.

Chad (@ChadsPride ) also suggested something about a Taco Community Trash Pickup at some point to show good community standing. If this is something we do, I'd recommend doing it as one of the first things prior to too much food and drinking.

As another point, that I'm not worried about, we will obviously need to clean up fully after ourselves as well. But our C&C showing is already great about this.

After the past couple days I wanna look at a Tesla

 

dude i was playing with a racing shifter kart on damn near a private circuit and changed my life. Absolutely fantastic. i gotta get a G meter next time out

 

I'll be there again as long as 290 is open and not flooded

I talked my fiancé into a Prius last year so she's loving it right now. At least I'll be riding around on government diesel for the next week while my truck sits safely at HQ with a full tank of gas.
