So, I'm sitting here thinking how much yard work I have to do. It's coming on fall, everything needs trimmed and hauled off. I've been on vacation for 2 weeks so the lawn looks like crap. Then, out of the blue, there's a knock on the door and a local landscaper offers to do it all for $40.....hell yes! It's just the front yard but it's the worst.

My mower is broke, may be a good time to fix it. Going to lay low this weekend and get into mischief

 

They seem to have a handle on the fire, they are letting it burn some of the built up vegitation.

That is not me...i am in better shape and have more hair. I do, however, sleep in the recliner alot.

Here is a current pic from our friends house about 200ft higher in elevation. There is a fire road at the top where the fire is burning.
The freeway is shut down and it is eerily quiet

And just as an UPDATE to this post, my post did indeed go over as predicted, and got quoted, and I got called a touch bag, by an apparent douchebag,(notice the spelling?) then I responded, and now it appears both my posts are gone.
