Nothing wrong with having a clean truck and keeping it that way, specially if it's a 3rd gen. Shoot, if I had a 3rd gen (which is probably what I'll end up with soon), I wouldn't want to beat it up either. Since I have a 1st gen and have been building it up, it's getting some trail time for sure.

Not hardcore by any means but definitely enough to make sure the parts I bought and installed on it are doing their job. I currently have TE37's on my truck and I'm extra careful with them. The plan was to swap from TE's to F5's for the trail but I don't see myself doing that often. So, I'll be looking at another vehicle that I can throw the TE's on and will have the F5's on my 1st gen full time. I miss being able to go off road whenever I want without having to swap wheels/tires.

Cool, sounds like a nice plan! Yea, I used to wheel when I was younger but now I rarely have time to do anything less head out in the woods to off road. I would like to hook up for some open trail fun, maybe some water crossings and scratch free stuff but then what's the point in that, right. It's all in or stay home! Maybe after a couple years, after I get a few dings.......

This is me about 2 months after I had the truck painted matte black. Talking about pinstripes galore:cheers:

Whatever makes you happy. No judgement here. Scratch free trails or ones that bust your truck up.

There ya go! After that, you won't even notice the new pinstripes you put on there. Glad my truck is white, you can barely see the pinstripes right now...I'm sure it'll get worse as time goes on though.

Thank you for sorting out the order SNAFU Vin. Once I figure out which lugs I need I will put them on order.

I went to Discount after work yesterday (I should note the damage is very minor). Went in calm and just explained to the manager I noticed the issue and that mistakes happen. I don't know how to do their jobs and just wanted to bring it to their attention that this occurred.

He checked em all out and proceeded to tell me he was going to buy me new wheels and install them for free when they arrive. Pretty blown away that they would do that. Made a customer for life out of me.

That's Awesome man! Some people just don't get it, that If you are an ass to people, they really wont want to help you out. You can be firm, but very calm and polite at the same time. I use it all the time at work and people are always willing to help me out.

Thanks for the info on the lugs. I probably will not get the rubber, barring some crazy sale that hits my radar, until October or early November due to all the current petty cash being put toward the late September trip to London. After that we will be out and about showing off the new shoes.

I have touched base in that forum a couple of times just haven't had anything to add yet. ;)

So just picked up a 2017 OR, havent had a truck in a long time.. Im looking to get a set of F5s but I really hate cars/trucks with too much wheel poke!

Anyway I see that the 16x8 3.5/4.5 bs are in stock now.

Which size would have the least poke?

Planning on running stock suspension for now.

I have the 16x8 with 4.5 bs on a 2nd gen. These will stick out slightly more than stock. About a 1/2" on either side I believe. The 3.5 bs will stick out even more.

EDIT: Added some pics trying to show how they're almost flush. Not sure how different the 3rd gen is in this regard.
