I currently have a 265/75/16's. I would like to go a little bigger. I am not opposed to minor modification if there is a little rubbing. Thanks

You could step up to a 255/85/16 or 285/75/16. The 255 is a little taller and narrower than the 285. Either will likely require you to trim plastic in your fender wells, smash your pinch weld in the front fender well, remove mud flaps, relocate your washer fluid reservoir, and so on. It's all very easy but needed if you want to be able to fully clear throughout the full range of your suspension travel.

References to everything I had to do to fit 255/85/16 are listed under the wheel/tire section here in my build.

    Good luck!

Thanks for your feedback. Would leveling the front help with the clearance?

No. Lift only changes where your truck sits within it's range of travel at ride height. It does not affect the upper (full bump) and lower (full droop) range of travel. Cutting, banging, removing things that are in the way is the only solution.

If you need the added ground clearance and contact patch that larger tires provide for offroad use, then it's definitely worth it. If it's just for aesthetics, then it may not be. Remember, big tires are going to negatively affect your acceleration, braking, and mpg.
