My wifes car which we never keep longer than the warranty lasts. We lease for her, always between 24-36 months. She uses it for work & we deduct what we can at tax time. We have done this for over 20 yrs. & has worked for our needs. This is our first Honda, a 4 dr. Accord, very nice ride. Have had Toyotas & Infinitis, which were nice, but hated taking them for service, same dealer. This dealer I have leased VW's & this Honda & service for the most part has been excellent.

    Wow...

Based on all this, I will NO LONGER be ordering from trdparts...customer service is MUCH MORE important to me than saving a few bucks.

There are 2 sides to every story. I have nothing to lie about. I would have been ok and not posted anything had it been fixed correctly. This was not the case though.

I am guessing there are also 2 sides to the other 29 people that had bad enough experiences to file a complaint with the BBB and give Toyota of Dallas and (F) rating. And that is just the people that complained to the BBB, imagine how many people didn't go that far and just let it slide. Needless to say it is a horrible dealership.

I have already reported them to the State Attorney General as well as the BBB. Maybe the BBB will change the rating scale from A-F to A-Z so they can give Toyota of Dallas a letter that better fits them.

As I am a Handicap Accessibility Consultant, I am also writing up a report on the dealership not meeting several of the Federal Law(ADAAG) accessibility guidelines and will be reporting them to the (DOJ)United States Department of Justice as well as the (ERC)Equal Rights Center. The good thing about the DOJ is that they do not allow tolerances and once they inspect the site and find the deficiencies that I report they will proceed directly to filing a lawsuit against toyota of dallas.

Yeah...There was another side to those 29 others. Namely- the 14 or 15 that got dismissed based on insufficient evidence. Don't take this the wrong way- Just pointing out there is another side. I don't agree with the way they played with with you...and I do think they are a prime example of why people hate dealers.

That's pretty...awesome... that you are doing everything you can to make their lives hell.

We have no accounts documented like this one particularly has been for those 29 other complaints-that means no side technically. This really doesn't have anything to do with the original situation. They could have 1000 BBB complaint against them, you go in and have good service, suddenly your perspective is different. BUT, we have a good amount of information regarding this incident, and replies from people who work there as well as print outs from the managers of different degrees.

The dealership and affiliates can put as many shrills as they want out in the market to help them but the fact of the matter is that this particular incident must have impacted them somewhat. I've never quite seen such a frenzy over a thread, but I guess in these times with everything going on, people here for the most part are just SICK AND TIRED OF DEALERSHIPS TRYING TO F*** PEOPLE!!

Accidents happen, people make mistakes, how a situation is handled determines the perception of the entire incident.

Had the back glass of my 04' 4Runner busted. Took it my local Toyota dealership to have new one installed by "professionals". Told them I wanted all the loose glass removed from inside the rear door well when they install the new one. When I get it back there was still tons of loose glass in the door, and, too boot, they scuffed the shit out of the clear coat. So I bring it back to them and tell them to remove the left over glass and to buff out the scuff marks. At $65/hr in labor charges, and charged for 3 hrs, I expect perfection. Here is where it gets interesting. I get it back home I noticed that not only did they buff the scuff marks out, but also the clear coat and the paint! And, to add insult to injury, still has glass in the door. The service manager tell me that the loose glass was stuck in the "glass housing" and could not be removed. And that I would have to buy a new one for $250. What a crock of shit that was. I told her she was a liar. I personally take apart the door and removed all glass by hand. Then I take it back and showed them there handy work and gave the service manager an unbiased and uncensored opinion of what I thought of her and her service dept. I raised all kinds on holy hell til I got them to agree to paying for it to get repaired right at a body shop of my choice.
Needless to say, when it came time to purchase my 2010 Taco, I took my business elsewhere. And I made it a point to go to that screwed up dealership to purchase my oil filters. I parked right in front of the Service managers glass door with my brand new Taco:D

A little quote happy are we?

As for Toyota giving tod the presidents award? I am not really impressed by a company with bad customer service giving one of their dealerships with bad customer service a worthless plaque to hang on the wall.

Do a search for Toyota Presidents award... Go ahead and count how many dealerships they give that to. And since Toyota North America has nothing to do with their dealerships(told to me by Toyota North America Customer Service) how would they know if the customer service is good or not? It is just something to hang on the wall so when someone sees it (like you) they are given a FALSE sense of security. Purely just BS Propaganda.
