Orange County CAF's: up to no good

The Starion, Supra, Celica GTS, Nissan 200sx turbo were pretty cool around 84-86. Don't see many of them around. You would think with todays turbos you could make them rip. RWD and all.

 

I was looking into a Supra, just the outer SHELL was $14,000. I would have to give up all hobbies and keep my truck after I pay it off for a while to afford a Supra build. Good thing is my wife has a great job and we both don't want kids so the Supra is feasible lol

 

I had a close friend (RIP) who bought a 1986 Supra back in 1992 or so. Man he loved that car. Pretty fast too. Looked just like this one.

TRD all the way. The older Supras are still very nice. But I told her it's either going to be a Supra or a DeLorean once I give up motorcycles. I would always see one on the freeway that made me crazy about them besides being a huge Back to the Future fan. His license plate read "GOTTIME"

 

Imbalanced brake pads? How can balance it? Turning the rotors? You mean resurfacing the rotors?

My problem is steering wheel shakes during high speed braking. City I'm fine. I check the brake pad it has a lot of meat left.

 

I've always liked the Nissan 240SX and, that I know of, you can get some serious horsepower out of these?! I LOVE the body style/design of the 95/96yr models.

 

If you can get your hands on a clean one I wouldn't let it ever go. I had a 2001 Honda Prelude mint condition, never gave me a problem and my wife made me sell it. It still hurts, because last month she told me I should have kept it.

My buddy had an Opal GT back in high school that he always thought was the shit. Slow but sure looked cool. Kinda like a mini corvette.

My brother came down last night with his lady and went to Huntington to go chill on the sand.
He opened a beer with his keys and lost them sometime after that. I went down last night at about 11pm with some flashlights and where unsucssessfull in finding the keys.
