Thanks. I wasn't saying he was the right. I just don't know how these things are looked at legally. That helps clear things up. That being said, and with the possibility of trying to avoid trouble about the crash, firing him could look like an admission of guilt. Sounds like they've dug a hole and just dig deeper.

Pretty much he chose a line based on her challenging him which these days has to be expected. The other officers there 2 I could identify watch after he yards her out the door and is cuffing her the young one comes up pats him on the shoulder and says something in his ear. I can not read lips so no idea what was said however, watch the young guys face and his body posture when her looks up and sees all the cell cameras pointing at him his face goes neutral and he steps back easing out of the situation. The amount of video on this incident is huge personal cells, hospital, LEO body cameras etc. If I had been one of the officers I might have tried to speak with the guy tell him look let admin get here call the watch commander tell him what is going on see if an electronic warrant can be sent . If the guy was not willing to de escalate it well call me what you will I would call the watch commander and tell him what was up as you see I am in the wrong too if I allow him to break the law.

Why the video has hit the net now can be for a number of reasons the investigation is over this after all happened 26 July 2017, the local agency was trying to let things quiet down before handing the guy his prefilled our retirement / resignation forms and not terminate and charge him or the hospital who Is backing the nurse pushed it etc. Your right it could look like an admission of guilt but it can also look like a lack of proactive supervision and a failure of the powers that be to manage their people. Which leads to a bigger quagmire of problems that could start costing people up the chain to loose their jobs too. In today's political and social climate I do not see this ending in any way good for the LEO , Leo's Agency, State Of Utah. The governor on down the pipe are as they should be upset by this. We are all old enough to know how shit flows down hill anyone who has ever been on the wrong end of that pipe there is an enormous amount of umm stuff that will dump on you when it starts that high up the pipeline lol

"Under State law, police supervisors may have direct liability to the public due to the act of a subordinate when the supervisor authorized, participated in, directed, or ratified the act, or was present at the time the act was committed and could have prevented it but failed to do so. Vicarious liability involves indirect responsibility for what subordinates do due to negligence in training, hiring, assignment, supervision, direction, entrustment, and retention. Police supervisors may also incur liability under State law for actions affecting subordinates. Direct liability is usually associated either with the causes for which an employee may be terminated, demoted, suspended, or reassigned or the procedures followed in the aforementioned circumstances. Under Federal law, a police supervisor's direct liability to the public is most often brought under Title 42 Section 1983. Some circuit courts of appeal reject vicarious liability under Section 1983, but others apply it in the hiring, training, or supervision of subordinates, or on specific State law. Supervisor liability to subordinates under Federal law may come under statutory prohibitions against discrimination. Thus, developing case law strongly suggests police supervisors should know the legal limits of their jobs and be more aware of what goes on among and the competencies of subordinates."

If he was ordered to do it by his superior then he should be fired too.

Cleaning garage in order to get mower in and fix it.
Came across this but still haven't seen my cars in years. No way I'd keep them in garage.

I did that one time in an International bobtail hauling short logs. I wasn't paying attention when I was loading it and got all the butts over the back end. When I was driving out, there was a steep hill and it floated the front end. The guy who owned the property hooked onto the truck with an '82 Toyota 4x4, stuck it in 4 low and held the front end down so I could get it out to the top....pucker!

Wind shifted again. They dropped retardants on the hill above us. There is still alot of buffer space between us and the fire
