Are there any lifts that will not void the warranty on my 09 DC TRD OR 2 x4? I could be wrong but I haven't seen any that Toyota/TRD offers that the dealership can put on to not void your warranty.

Does anyone know if a non warranty voiding lift exists? Thanks!

the only way a lift will void your warrenty is if they can prove that the lift is actualy what caused the damage.

I don't think there are toyota lifts.
A afterrmarket lift does not void a warranty in total. They can refuse to service CV joints or U joints on the drive shafts or refuse to fix a drive line vibration because a lift is believed to have cause the condition. But the wiring, engine, clutch, transmission ect are still in warranty, because a lift will not affect these parts.

So if you put on a mild lift, say 2.5 in you are not likely to have an issue with your warranty, because 2.5 in should not cause any issues.

So my point is, if you want a lift and you are concerned about the warranty, keep the lift mild and you will not have any issue during the warranty period.

I know this is the way the law reads but the dealership can turn you down and you gotta live with it unless you hire a lawyer and take them to court which isn't going to happen. In Toyota's current position, my guess is, they will try to get out of doing any warranty work especially if they can blame it on a modification in a round about way. They are hurting right now so I bet they tighten up and become more difficult all the way around.

I guess some of you are right tho in that it will only void a small part of the warranty.

    Thanks guys!

What issues could a 3" lift cause that a 2.5" could not?

Well...If you are going to roll over and take them turning you down then I wouldn't do anything to your truck.

You gotta be willing to fight for your rights- Even if that means a lawyer or whatever.
