Thanks for the info, I was considering selling my 2017 bec I am butt hurt my brand new truck isn't perfect; for a Raptor but I can't sit here and justify buying a $65K dollar truck, even when I can get a deal on a new one.

being honest.... it was money... I wanted to save some more money each month so I went from $500 a month to $275 a month in truck payment. I am not daily driving it / commuting in it.... so it's kind of just a toy and I couldnt see paying $500 a month for a secondary vehicle.

so I sold my brand new Taco (right after I really got the lift, wheels, tires, winch etc... on :( )

and I bought an F-350 for $14,500k.... and flipped it for $18,500 w/in 30 days.... so I went and bought my 2nd gen and dumped the $4k in profit into that build.

youre not 100% right..... but youre also not 100% wrong.... :D

Jk jk, he had his reasons.

2nd gens are proven, they did have their own issues though. At least Toyota for the most part does decently about fixing shit. Just gotta stay on top of things.

and @Superman910 , I told Karen she better not sacrifice my TW decal to scan it... she said she might have to.... who knows. :(

I told her, it's a risk I'm willing to take for the greater good of the Tacoma guys.

Just don't get in trouble for making TW decals without Bob's permission.

yep.... plus my wife wouldnt let me do fun obstacles like @fatfurious2 did because she didnt want me to "mess up my brand new truck"

not gonna lie.... I really do like the 4.0L better than the 3.5L.. it feels a LOT more powerful (even though on paper it's not)

but I heard good news today.... the 2018s will have the cement color available on the TRD Sports and the TRD Off Roads (but not on the TRD Pros)

We could make a noVA version and clear with bob. If he doesn't want to let the tacomaworld version get made. Sort of a chapter version

Oh I totally plan on doing it the right way.... I'm going to have Karen scan it and print 1 out.... then I'll send a PM / pic to Bob, and offer to help him out bearing the load of TW stickers (since there are a LOT of guys that want them but cant get them) and if he says yes, then great. if not, I'll leave it alone and wont do it.

That honestly was the second reason I didn't get one. I barely drive, life has been crazy lately and I have driven a lot, but I drive maybe 2-3 days a week. I try to stay as far away from DC as possible, unless i have to go to the Gon, but I usually tell them to come out to me lol...The tacoma is the "perfect" size for around here.

@Me. Projekt @buyobuyo I think we could really get something cool and unique and I bet we could draw in a lot more people in the area....I see quite a few modded tacos that aren't on the forums. Think it would be cool.

    Hell yes.

Agreed. I've got a 2G but my truck is my everything vehicle, even my commuter truck. Did great when I had to commute into DC, even though I didn't want to.
