as much as i love bikes. its definitely an easy way out compared to a truck. running kanes creek was a bit tough in a truck but would have been cake walk on a bike. nowhere near as as rough cause youre likely to choose a line to get over since it is physically more taxing unless you really want to beat yourself up

Oh I agree, definitely have the advantage picking lines. Out here on the east coast most of our "wheeling" is hours away and still isn't anything compared to the west coast wheeling we all love. While with a bike, we have everything from fire roads, single track, MX etc. Which is why my tacoma is sold and I have a dirt bike now haha.

Edit: and the upkeep!! Takes 20 min to wash a bike and go over it for problems....truck used to take me days after wheeling

Just a matter of time before you get one brugh!!!

true that. i love having the bikes. just bought a 690e to start doing long offroad trips. 55mpgs is also a lot cheaper than 13.

Heading on towards 3 years since first post about this pile. It's been through 3 tow pigs and still only gone 20 miles once?

Made it more than 20 miles... not without some sort of issue but made it none the less!
