Hope the recovery is swift Duane. Scary stuff. I've banged my scalp on the truck a few times, but never as serious as your event.

    Morning all:
No word from Jim yet? I don't, but does anyone have his email address to try to contact him, sure hope he's OK.
Don't know if he still reads this thread, but if he is OK at least he knows we are keeping him in our thoughts.

Happy you are doing better Duane.

Time to fire up some camping stoves and give the truck and your head a rest.

:pccoffee:  Good morning 60s/wannabes/Susan. We're sitting here with coffee as the remnants of Harvey roll over the area. Fortunately I've got a few indoor projects to keep me occupied.

Afternoon all:hattip:. Upstate PA for the weekend. We were at our neighbors 5th annual corn roast:drool::cheers:. It was great even though we had rain. Ate so much corn on the cob, I can't even think about corn. But it was good. This morning was a work morning for me. Had to tear down part of the back room ceiling due to the winter resident's making a real mess(mice, squirrels,???)Don't know who but it was a,mess. I'm going to,leave it open to air out and then look for their access point and close it off. Then insulate and drywall. hate these ho

    Thanks Carl and Mike!

Getting on up there but can still climb into a ladder stand for deer hunting. Have retired from the 2 piece climbers like Summit though.

Counting archery season the Alabama whitetail season is 119 days long. Wives who don't hunt probably get tired of the long season.

    Morning all:
Just made my fishing buddy Jim's day!
He bought the Rem.600 .350 Mag. a few months ago for $750 at an auction. Another buddy who knows these guns just sent me an email where Cabela's has one at the WV store for $1,699.99, called Jim and told him about the "DEAL" on the one at Cabela's if he wanted another one! He laughed also!
Seems like Cabela's is getting as bad as used car dealers when it comes to pricing on used guns!
Maybe that's not so bad, the more they can sell them for means mine are worth that much more!!! :D

Saw the movie "Wind River" last night and then watched a couple episodes of "Shooter" on Netflix.

I think I still smell burning gun powder this morning.:)
