Just got back home and walked in 81*. Had to shut the windows and turn the AC so the dogs and I would not melt. Temps back down to normal tomorrow thank goodness haven't had the AC on in a couple of weeks.

Went to town and the mall and a couple of stores to pick up a few things, gone about 3 hours. Zilch. Zip. Nada. Nothing I was looking for. No wonder Amazon does so well.

So took my shopping list and stopped at the grocery store on the way home. Need elbow macaroni for the Mac N Cheese doing on the smoker tomorrow. Walked out almost $100 poorer. Put groceries away, no macaroni. The one freaking thing I really left the house for. This getting old shit is starting to piss me off. Did I mention I had my shopping list? Hell I didn't used to even need a damn list.

Had to stop and fill up the truck and gas is up .30 cents a gallon it is up to $2.49 gal. We get our gas from a pipeline that runs down from Canada. You've got to be shitting me.

At least y'all have gas. I've been in a control room of an energy company and saw the maps of miles and miles of pipelines but we don't have gas

We didn't see any except in Texas. From El Paso east. Most were 4x4, some 4x4 pulling an old 1st gen tercel, but primarily a 4x4 pulling another 4x4.
