Ordered parts to do the easy tweeter mod, for those of you doing this and thinking of also changing out for some better door speakers. Crutchfield is doing a sale until 9/21. Buy one pair of Kicker speakers get the second pair of equal or lesser value 1/2 off, and they mounting and wiring adapters are free. I saved $80.
Also ordered some Dynamat extreme, figure since I am removing door panels what can it hurt. I have had to many dreams about it after watching all the videos on removal of door panels, speaker, and Dynamat installation
Thanks to mrproduxn for putting this in my head

No, not really. I did it as a test due to something I seen about the surging in the 3.5's on acceleration.
It almost completely cleared up the surging and as long as I could keep my foot out of it and remember to take it out of 'Shift' mode, it was a pretty significant gain in MPG.

yes safe and effective for plastics. they suggest about twice a year for normal use. this is my first treatment after like 9 months if ownership.

I bet he didn't have any issues. I have 285 75X16 on mine and didnt have any issues. Can run full crank forward and reverse over a curb without any rubbing whatsoever. Fully stock Pro. I have General Grabbers X3's

I'm on fully stock Pro suspension too. Running 17" TRD Pro Sema wheels with 275/70/17 (KO2) and I'm rubbing a little.

I removed mine for now but probably will do some trimming as well since I like the mud flaps on.

Try rokblocks they are super thin but durable mud flaps and look awesome.

Yeah that's why I opted to trim it, I like to protect my paint too by having it on

Must be the KO2's. It seems others have some slight rubbing issues with them too. I'd like to see them up close to see how they're wider.
