Got to tryout my new winch dragging this dumbass out of the river. He was in an Astro van and drylocked the motor.

 

Went to "Wheelin in the country" today and it was muddy as hell but a lot of fun. Paid for a two day pass so I might be going back 2moro. Also have an extra wrist band, so if anyone has the day off and wants to join your more than welcome to. It'd be nice to have a fellow taco to wheel with so I don't have to listen to all the jeep owners bs.

Usually not a fan of headlight hoops, but yours look mean as hell. I like it. Truck looks completely different from when I saw it.

 

Soccer moms are probably dropping panties because of the taco.

Anyone know a place around Nashville to buy seamless? Got access to a welder and bender, just material for a good price. I need to get this bumper finished.

 

Man, the zip tied blinkers looks like something I'd do have you considered moving them to the side markers? Mine came out well

 

Quick fix for the moment. How did you do the mod? I know I could just add a relay into the side maker circuit and let the blinker circuit activate the relay but then I have to keep my lights on all the time. I've also found a kit but that's $80. My plan was to add something like this one I get the tube welded on.

 

I cut the little mount off the back of the blinker with a dremmel (the thing the bulb harness goes into and spins to lock in), then I drilled a bulb size hole in the bottom corner of the side marker housing and used black silicon to attach the mount to the side marker. Now the bulb harness thing clips in just like stock, and it's low enough so it shines through the white part of the lens, not the orange so it's bright enough..

Why don't you show up there? All the cool kids will be @ Black Mountain on the last weekend of October. 53+ trucks/drivers so far...(Realistically expect 40+ to actually show up)

 

Yeah we're kinda a big deal! There was a time when I was the only 1st gen in this thread I think. Just 2 years ago really.
