I can't decide if I want a bedcover, or just a bed mat. I think I'd be stressing about a bedcover something else to keep looking clean. So many choices. o_O

I know I'm really digging those Clazzios too, I think you get free embroidering and $100 off this month on orders over a certain amount, the infos in the Clazzio thread.

I'm getting my TRD cat back exhaust and cold air intake plus skid plate put on Thursday. I know I could of got better aftermarket stuff, but I got it in my financing through the dealer, and trying to keep them from ever having to void my warranty.

I'm for sure going to get a nice system put in, I just don't know how much I want to go on it yet. That will be my first major mod.

I haven't decided if I'll put a suspension lift on, if I do it will probably be in a few years when I need tires. This is a really cool website an all, but it's absolutely a terrible place for money. I think I have at least $10k of stuff I want to do to my truck in the next few years. :boom:

Edit: I like midnights, but as soon as this big ball of fire that is the sun comes out, I want to GTFO of here. Midnights make me feel like a vampire.

I never thought of working a mod into financing. I would have don't that for the trd exhaust. I have done some light reading about that and from what is says it sounds like it will be right up my alley. You gotta report back after you get a few miles with it installed. I'm also holding off on suspension work. I want to keep all warranty issues at bay.

I love grave shift though, I live downtown in Seattle and it's always people everywhere and so loud. So when I'm up all night it's nice and quiet and peaceful. And I sleep through all the bs during the day

Ok so first of all, NOTHING VOIDS YOUR WARRANTY. Lets get that out of the way.

The ONLY thing a dealer can do is reject a warranty claim on a part that YOUR aftermarket part caused a failure in. Example, you install an aftermarket exhaust, your engine grenades, dealer can potentially say your exhaust caused blah blah blah and the engine blew up. Crazy example, and in that case I'd go to court and fight it, but that's what all that means. If something on your truck breaks, and you're not a sheeple, the dealer can't just say, "nope, your blah blah part made this break". If its an obvious reason, yeah they're probably right, but alot of the time, a dealer just straight up doesn't want to do the work because they don't make money off of warranty work. They have to get the money from Toyota, who says "ok yeah thats a valid warranty, here's the money it costs to do that, and not a cent more"

So in this case, installing a TOYOTA part on your truck that was designed by Toyota for your truck, mehhh thats a bit of a stretch if something goes wrong.

So just to recap, NOTHING VOIDS YOUR WARRANTY. I'm still trying to figure out where that phrase came from in regards to vehicles. There is pretty much no situation where you walk in with your vehicle and they go "oh shit man, your warranty is completely voided because of that". I mean, my truck is pretty beyond a warranty at this point, but I TECHNICALLY still have my factory warranty on any factory parts left. Finding one that might fail on its own and not due to the shit I installed on it or next to it...wellllllllllllllllllll, that's probably not gonna happen.

Sorry, I get worked up when I see people over pay for parts at a dealer or anything dealer related AND say something about voided warrantees.

I should of worded a bit differently. I meant pretty much what you described. Blaming a failure of something on aftermarket part, and then saying the warranty won't cover the issue due to the aftermarket part, even if the part didn't cause the failure. I never thought that my entire warranty would be canceled, if I put some aftermarket parts on. :)

And also, gettting it in my financing was a reason I ordered them in the first place, that was a lot more to do with it than the warranty. The salesman didn't try to push them on me, or even really suggest that I buy them. I had a number I was comfortable going with on my monthly payments, it came in well under that number so I added a couple extras while I could get it in my loan.

No reason to be sorry either, there's nothing wrong with a little passion. Thanks for the advice.

I've felt normal all day (after they got the catheter out) but I'm scheduled for quadruple (give or take) on Thursday. They won't let me leave and minimum of four days afterwards. I know I'm receiving the best possible care in one of the nations leading cardiac hospitals! And I'm one of their own so I'm getting a few perks:D
