Should take the one with pancake istead of of mcmuffin. Way more softer!

Truck looks damn good with the right bumper on!

    Waxed dat bitch!

Haven't waxed the truck since mid June. It needed some love. Only reason I wax 'em is so they clean easier. The paint was getting to the point it had to be scrubbed in order to get it clean. Now, for a while anyway, just spray it off and she's spotless! Don't mind getting it dirty when the time comes, but prefer it to be clean the rest of the time. I HATE working on dirty shit. Got some paint work to do when I get time. With the stock bumper cover gone, there's a few areas exposed that haven't seem the light of day since the truck was built. Those spots are now free of dirt, just need a shot of paint.

Yes, you can be awesome in the woods AND a quality mall crawler BOTH! So why NOT?

May take a day off this coming week. Just when I start to think I'm about done with my list of shit to do....I look at the list and it's still growing!

STILL haven't wired the Baja Designs fogs.
STILL haven't put on the T-case skid
STILL haven't done the 885 to 887 coil swap
Now have the quick fist's laying on the work bench. Gotta make brackets and install those/put shovel/mattock/axe in place.
STILL have to re-wind winch line under tension.

After a month of working my ass off by day/Modding my ass off by night, I'm not quite as highly motivated as I once was. Needing a few days off between projects.

Oh...BTW....May have found a VERY cool looking aftermarket grill. Black powder coated mesh with fake carbon fiber surround. Making a decision on that. May pull the trigger in the next few days.

We'll see....Gotta hear the salary, the insurance deal, and what sort of vacation plan they have. Those things are really GOOD where I'm at now. I just want to work somewhere that does NOT have an asshole running the show.

Well.....I did SOMETHING truck related....After I got home, the grass got cut first. While I was hot and sweaty, decided to crawl under the front end with some newspaper (masking paper) and a spray bomb. Frame/front end is black where it needs to be now.

    THE END!

Time to take a shower, drink chilly beer and pretend I have a day off.

One MORE thing off the list! Granted, an EASY thing....Unwound the entire length of the winch cable, then dragged a loaded work cart (golf cart) across the parking lot to keep some tension on the winch line. It is now wound tight enough to use. Prior to this, the entire spool was filled to the limit and the line was loaded very loosely. With the line stretched, it is noticeably smaller diameter.

Ordered a dozen tee nuts this morning. I need 3 to secure brackets for quick fist shovel/mattocks/axe mounts. This should be done by the weekend.

Raining now. If it's dry when I get home, the 3rd section of skid plate, OR, wiring the fog lights is next on the agenda.

I want this stuff DONE. It was big fun at first. Then it was work. Now I'm ready to put the tools away for a while. Fall fishing season is upon us as soon as the first leaves start dropping.

That dreaded "to do list" got shorter today, and it may get even shorter still. As mentioned earlier, the winch line got re-wound and tightened up. Got home a couple hours early, so the fog lights are wired and working!

    20170905_144846_Burst01.jpg

Now I'm about to crawl under and grease the drive shaft, then install the t-case skid.

That will leave the quick fist shovel/axe/mattocks mounts, and I'm ordering a new grill (black fake carbon fiber)

This bad boy will be ready by Rush!

You're making me a bit jelly, sir. Lookin down right fly as fuck!

I greased my u-joints and the truck is like butter now! Just need a fill of MT-90 in the trans and I'll be happy. Probably refill the diffs and t-case after Rush or after Black Mtn, depends on mud/water holes at those parks.

I'm a picky bastard. I want this truck EXACTLY like I had it planned. It will be done that way.

By spring, an ARB front locker.
    Kings
    AllPro expo's
Narrowed down to one of 3 bed racks, or, ARE cap.
    Eventually a RTT MAYBE.
20" Baja Designs light bar in bumper
    Oem roof rack.

    Re-plant the money tree.
