Yeah. I was hoping it would curl up north. Now I'm hoping it stays south. Not that the gulf needs another hit, but maybe it will get ripped to shreds crossing Cuba...

Already went to walmart. Pretty damn quiet @ 7am. Got water, baby food, and canned food. Looking at the maps I can't tell weather to run or not.

I'm in South Carolina for work and won't be home until Saturday evening. I'm hoping things aren't too dire when I get there.

I need to get down there to secure my stuff and board up. As long as I have time to do that, I'm good. Matthew passed by pretty close and I didn't get any damage. I'd just feel more comfortable if my truck wasn't parked at the airport and my bike was in a more secure location.

Sorry about that. But I don't think I would be running towards a cat 3 or 4. Things can be replaced but Lee's cannot.

My ex-wife would argue that one with ya'! :D

If it looks like an east coast landfall, I've got a couple of fall back points to hunker down. I just need to secure a few heirlooms and grab my SHTF gear so I'm covered when I go back to sort through the rubble. My place has been upgraded to Cat 3 code, but I'm not staying there for anything more than a Cat 2.

Im thinking strong cat 3 sustained winds over 120. It all depends if it stays over the water or hit some mountains.
