Mountain Bikes....

For anyone who needs an excuse to come to vegas(lol), there will be a Trek and Fisher demo weekend. The dates are 17-18 April. All you need is a credit card and driver's license to ride some really fun DESERT single track.

I went on my first ride yesturday, now my ass is in the hurt locker!! I went and bought a new saddle though. Lets see how well it works out!

 

What did you pay for that bike if you don't mind me asking? My buddy is trying to get a new bike, and they wanted 1k+ for all the GF bikes here.

Im about to go pick up a giant trance within the next two weeks or so dont know which one the other half is going to let my buy but I was thinking the X3 would be nice. But I can get an X4 for $1000.

This is true but I cant find any good deals on a quality bike here in CO! I keep looking on craigs list and find some yeti bikes but they are still very pricey. I wish I could find a great deal on one but Im getting sick of waiting its about riding season here and I've got the itch for a new bike.

Get a pair of MTB shorts w/ chamois. Your ass and taint will thank you.

I was thinking about doing just that! I could put them on under my cloths. Not really into super tight cloths, nor am I in the shape for them yet, LOL

 

^^^They sell shorts out there that look like regular shorts. I'm not into the tights thing either. But the shorts have built in liners and chamois. I never ride w/out a pair.

C'mon now, we already discussed this. XC. I ride mostly cottonwood and cowboy trails just because it's a little closer. I do BC every once in a while.

 

Sounds good. Now I just have to find a few pair!
