    A storm alert has been issued for South Alaska for an early fall storm, Valdez is forecast to get 2.5" of rain tomorrow...

    So I'll be bowing out back into Canada where I can get sunshine on a normal schedule again.

    I've seen the sun maybe four times for an extended period in the last two weeks, all were in the Anchorage "bowl" that usually gets sun midday.

    As I expected, a place like the PNW where they have this kind of crap weather will not work for me. Was going to hike another glacier tomorrow... But not in a storm and it was too late to drive there today since the forecast was for rain most of today. But there will be plenty for next time I'm up here... In the summer.
