My nephew just came out of surgery, and it went very well. He stayed stable throughout. They didn't find any additional abdominal injuries, and they were able to do the aorta repair. It's a total change in the situation since early this morning, from just hoping to get him stable enough for surgery, to having a very successful surgery. Thank you all for the prayers!!!

Great Labor Day stopping for breakfast in Middlesex, then Bass Pro, then a stop @ Karns grocery. My Dad bought his new crossbow, StepMother and Amanda found some good deals, I bought new camo, jeans, and of course beef jerky for the ride home. We try and spend every minute possible with my 79 year young Dad!

    Almost....

    making bacon.jpg

Top is almost at 150 but lower rack is only 138. Be a little bit yet. Still need to do the bacon burnt ends. And add milk and cream to this. Been a long time since I've had mac n cheese usually just do baked beans doctored up. Of course I did doctor up the mac n cheese, including bacon from the ends of the last batch I did.

    No boil macNcheese no milk.jpg
