Test fit tent on with the supplied brackets. Gonna order the fro quick release this week because doing it with the supplied clamps sucks. IMG_3208.jpg IMG_3209.jpg

I did the same but stock halogens have much better throw and distance. Yellows look better and are super bright but fail in function. Shame because I love the color. Good for parking lights not fogs. Better off using lamin-x on stock fog bulbs.

Used some new toys to rotate the tires on the truck and trailer today. Speedmaster air jack and Harbor Freight earthquake XT ultra light, stubby 1/2 impact.

Using an airjack takes some practice but its definatley a good farm jack alternative if you don't have steel on every corner of your rig.

Works great with the co2 setup and hardley used any gas on 6 tires. This will definately be living in the truck!

I think I would need to see more zoomed out version where you can see the entire truck.

Ok, that's cool. Does it clip in just like any other Toyota Homelink mirror?

Price of gas isn't the problem. It's jackasses like this that horde it. There's 5 other people that will wait hours in line and could have gotten gas but will be turned away because the station ran out all because this guy thought he was entitled to illegally fill and transport unapproved and unsafe containers

Interested in hearing more about what you did. I did similar and put in new amber bulbs. So far been happy, had a chance to use them in some rain and they do improve visibility. But it's true, they aren't very bright. But neither were there OEM bulbs. Light output between the two was very similar. And the bulbs I put in were same technology and type as stock.

So you recommend just lamin-x over the stock lense?

Well truthfully I recommend the Morimoto XB LED Fog lights with housings over all I have seen so far. They are pricey at an average of $170 a pair, however, they can be bought for $145 on the thread https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/morimoto-led-fog-light-labor-day-sale.508384/ by using code labor15 in the cart. The site says promotion good until 9/30/2017. That is still pricey. If you are on a budget, and love the yellow color, then lamin-x yellow tint film over stock lens will give you the look for max of $15 for pre-cut or cheaper by buying a sheet and cutting it to fit. Our stock housings are not made for LED lights so you just waste money trying to get performance from cheap LED bulbs. There are $150 LED bulbs (GTR GEN 3 lists for $199 for 2 bulbs) that claim to work in our housings. I would rather spend that money on the Morimoto that includes the correct type of housings. I am honestly on the fence. I have the cheap yellow LED bulbs that look awesome but the coverage is sub-par compared to stock halogen bulbs. In comparison I have driven 200 miles on the interstate, late at night, with only my fog lights and LED stock DRL lights. I cannot drive with these yellow fog bulbs and DRL's at night. Not enough light and, in fact, the brightness of the radio overwhelms the driving view at night. I did not have a radio brightness issue with DRL's and stock halogen fog lights. Hope this helps.
