Didn't see this posted yet when I searched, apologies for a repost if so:

Guy picked the wrong store to rob...

Armed suspect robs convenience store, gets shot by every customer inside

A hapless thug picked the wrong convenience store to rob in Brazil recently. Inside the store were four off-duty plain clothes police officers carrying concealed weapons.

Surveillance footage from inside the store shows the criminal was shot multiple times during the robbery on May 31st.

The footage shows the suspect, wearing a white shirt and a motorcycle helmet, enter the store and produce a handgun.

One of the cops took cover behind a display shelf and drew his service revolver. A 2nd camera angle shows the same officer fire 2-3 shots at the robber who dropped his gun on the floor. As the wounded suspect went for his gun he was shot by the other officers.

The suspect collapsed on the floor where he lay motionless.

    Along similar lines... Doh!

I mean seriously, is there an Irish-named pub in the NE that isn't frequented by cops?

2 Maryland men mistakenly rob bar where a police retirement party was being held

Two masked men mistakenly held up a Baltimore bar where, coincidentally, a police retirement party was being held.

The armed robbery occurred on Tuesday at Monaghan’s Pub in unincorporated Woodlawn in Baltimore County.

Joseph McInnis III, 21, and Tyree McCoy, 22, entered Monaghan’s with the intent of robbing the cash register and possibly causing bodily harm if anyone resisted.

The robbers didn’t notice a group of off-duty police officers who had gathered to celebrate a sergeant’s retirement.

Monaghan’s owner Jack Milani said the clueless armed robbers demanded cash from the register then fled. An employee interrupted the party to alert the officers that they had just been robbed.

A few of the younger officers gave chase and caught up to McInnis and McCoy outside the pub. McInnis and McCoy resisted arrest and the officers were forced to subdue them with closed fists and steel toe boots.

The robbers were treated for non-life threatening injuries. According to UK’s Daily Mail, both men face armed robbery, theft and other charges.

Monaghan’s Pub owner says the robbers must not have noticed the police precinct right across the street, where squad cars come and go during shift changes. The pub is a well-known police hangout — even when they aren’t holding retirement celebrations.

“It’s kind of odd you would even attempt [a robbery],” Milani told the Daily Mail. “Officers are always in here. There was a decent amount of them.”

People tend to be very myopic. I'm sure I've suffered from it myself, though I try not to be that stupid. :)

Ive heard that from a couple smokers. My cousins GF/fiance smokes and complains about the smoke from the fires. But she also wont go to the coast because there might be a tsunami.

She probably thought the LED lightbars will make her more attractive to men :notsure: I mean, they aren't 52-in., but they produce patterns and appear to be 5100K...

So, I agreed to change wheel bearings in my cousins crown vic because he is beyond too fat to do it himself (23 years old, wears a 6xl shirt and has to lay down on the ground to remove lug nuts). Pass side had obvious failure causing a lot of movement. I fight for half an hour to get the diff cover off (glued on with lots of RTV). Finally get it off and fight the c-clip for an hour. Once thats off, I find that the bearing welded itself to the axle and now it cant come out.
I asked when he noticed it. "About a week after I got it". That was two months ago. I asked why he didnt get it fixed then. "Well, if you turn the AC on, you dont hear it anymore". ARE YOUR FU¤¤ING KIDDING ME! How the H E double hockey sticks am I related to such a :/8:#76"4429#; idiot?
Now I have to figure out how to get this axle out and order a new one. All the while this freaking car is sitting in the driveway and Im wasting my time on it when I should be working on finishing the frame on my car which I cant even get out of the garage now.
I swear. If I cant get that forsaken axle out tomorrow, Im winching the car onto my trailer then dumping it off infront of his apartment.

Sorry. Blood pressure is high and needed to vent to get it down.

Think maybe you owe too much to family. Need to say no, and let cousin look after his own vehicle, or bitch, your choice!
