Is the trail there better or is there an alternative trail? When I went there earlier this year the trail was in pretty bad shape. No way I was able to make it up.

Hmm... I don't have any pictures of the washed out area. It was most definitely not stock friendly.

    @The Fluffer @Milota95

Aztec peak is where we went late at night and had to remove that large fallen tree correct?

Edit: wasn't there a large fire in that area this past year?

Nooo that's what we call "sketch Mountain" that's about an hour and a half before the top of Aztec. Yeah Q and I did that rail a couple months ago and it was WAYYY worse than when we did it that night and cut the tree down.

    Opinions wanted:

Hired some labors to do some work over at the new place. They're the masonry guys who build all the walls for DR Horton in the area. Mainly: build (1) wall, 15' long, 8 rows high. Build (1) wall, 23' long, 9 rows high, with a gate to be supplied by them. Stucco entire inside perimeter wall of main backyard area, which is about 6' tall x 300ish feet long all together. Paint all inside block walls.

$2500, no money up front, all to be paid when completed.

Work was to be done on Sat 8/26. They show up and proceed to steal blocks off all the palletsfrom the new builds in the neighborhood. Whatever, that's their realm not mine. They show me a shade which is very similar to the shade of my house and ask if that's fine, I say yeah it's a good color. They go steal the paint from a different builder's new builds. Whatever, that's their deal and not mine.
They start to build the walls, complete that and the stucco 70% of the walls. Ask where the gate is. I tell them to ask their boss, they're supposed to provide it. Anyways, about 5pm they say they're going to be back tomorrow. Ok, no biggie. Sunday comes and goes with nothing. Can't find them at the new builds all next week but no one shows up. Finally find them Friday and tell them that if they want their money, they better come finish up. The guy says they'll be there tomorrow (9/2). Afternoon of 9/1, they show up and stucco walls and then leave. Stucco looks good. Nothing has been painted, and no gate. Told dude today to come fucking finish this shit. He's all "si, si".

Anyways, if they don't show up today, I'm about to just hire someone else to finish it or whatever, mainly to paint it. Told the wife I'm pretty fucking pissed that it's been a week and a half and isn't complete.

So if they don't finish it, would you:

    1) hire someone to paint it (or do it myself), and subtract what I pay them from $2500 and give the block guys the balance.

    2) hire someone else, and then tell the block guys to go fuck themselves, not paying them shit because they a) never finished and b) it's been a fuckin week and a half for a 1-2 day job.

    5. Ask them where their contractors license is, most states the license is a requirement to bid on a job that size.
At which point you can offer to report them...

You could also ask them for the paperwork on where they got the materials from. ...
I doubt they would want the law involved!

Call LA migra and don't pay shit.

You hired laborers what did you expect.

Give them a week then tell them to pound sand.

I had some drywall work done several years back. Similar situation to yours. The guys never came back I finished the job myself and saved the moneies

    Question for you gun guys.

I have a Mossberg 500 and the last time I went and shot it there was some issues cycling rounds. Ever so often it would almost get somewhat stuck when I'd pull the forend back to cycle another round. It doesn't stick much but it's not smooth forcing me to have to pull hard to get it to cycle and it's random. I've tested different shells and everything I can think of without finding anyway to replicate the issue consistently. Seems like it will happen once or twice with ever 20 or so shells that move through it.

Today I took off the pistol grip forend thinking maybe it was twisting something and binding. I put the stock forend back on and cycled rounds to see if it acts up and it still does. I am about to take it apart and clean it I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on why this would stat happening? Never happened before.
