Northern Virginia Roll Call

I have too many firearms projects going on at once and need to "consolidate." I have a couple of other 9mm CC guns and this one rarely gets used. I have it up on vaguntrader, too. Worst case, I will take it to Cabela's in Gainesville and sell it to them. They offered me $450, and I got it as part of a trade so I will still come out on top.

 

My brother in law has a problem with buying HKs. He has 5 or 6 at this point. He just bought a P30L last week.

I love HKs, they are smooth as butter. I am in the same boat as you though, too many safe queens, need to consolidate to just things I feel like I need.

 

I will be looking for a shotgun for home defense, and maybe a handgun soon. Most of my weapons knowledge (what little there is) is of rifles/shotguns, so I know basically nothing about handguns. I just want something handy for would be burglars. My new place isn't in the best of neighborhoods. I have already added exterior surveillance cameras, and will look into an alarm system. But want something handy just in case.

anywhere from 200-500 should fetch you a decent 500 here in my area, but li firearms are text in your area i bet as low as 150 are out there for sale

 

I dont really want to get into guns.. its another expensive hobby. Plenty of ranges near me too. I live across from one!

 

Yeah, I try to go there semi-regularly. They gave me a LEO discount and their super close to me. Plus when I go its non peak hours so there isn't much riff raff to bother me on the line.

 

i hear you, the firearm bug can get really addicting and in turn at times very expensive lol

Can I use a shotgun indoors?

 

depends on the range & the ammo you are using.

i have been at an indoor place that allowed shotguns, slugs only though

 

For home defense? Sure. You might be deaf for a little while afterwards though.

 

At a range, like Silver Eagle

 

You can use a shotgun there, but slugs only.

I do not know of any indoor ranges in the area that allow for buckshot to be used.

 

You can shoot shotguns at Silver Eagle. Slugs only though.
