Works out great!

I can promise the bearing is bad. What causes the seal to go out usually. Unfortunately.

 

Just flip yer shit, you'll learn real fast.time for a fresh start anyway, you got some weird part of your body making its way off the ass end of the truck.

 

Bearing replacement is more involved. But not hard to do. You'll need to make a tool to press it though. But I've honestly had no ill effects from the axle seal going bad. The wheel bearing has a dust seal. As long as ta grease hasn't seeped out it shouldn't be bad

But with 300k on the old girl now I did finally replace the bearings and backing plates

 

Getting more normal now...

 

Sold TRD wheels and swapped on steel wheels, waiting for Method NV's to arrive

 

This was more from last week but finally got my rear lift together! Sits nice now and defiantly need some bigger tires

 

Or buy a truck that looks good but is really about to fall apart into 30 pieces

 

That's how I got insurance money for my honda to buy a Tacoma. Didn't even damage the other car and $7k+ worth of damage on my Fit lol.

If you have a local machine shop they can do the pressing for you as well. Ideally I want to be setup like Brett so I can press it on myself. Only cost me around $250 total. Until I have a setup like that I'll be bringing the shaft to the machine shop and telling them to press everything off and only the bearing on and I will tap down the last retainer so I can line it up perfectly.

Need to get one of these eventually. And a welder. It would have been useful so many times already.

Did you have any problem getting the CB back in as far as you have it? I have the Same CB but can't go back in as far as yours .Almost hits the AT trans shifter when in Park. Any thoughts? Thanks.
