Yep, I'm good for mod day. Thinking of putting your new spring compressor to work and buying new springs. Debating between 650 and 700 lbs. Could use some recommendations

Check my build thread...too much to list.
So if your endgame is a steel front bumper with a winch I definitely recommend 700. Ride might suck a bit till you actually get the weight but it will save you from possibly buying again and taking everything off. I honestly didn't need any preload on my setup till I put the winch in. For an aluminum bumper or the fancy winch plates I've seen around the forum 650 should do you fine.

I should be there, wife has no plans at the moment.

i really only had two get stuck. the top of the rear shocks and one lower leaf spring (actually broke free but then the rust got it stuck halfway out of the leaf somehow)

    You had me at donuts...

Too easy. However quite a few of us will encourage you to return the diff drop for a refund as it can cause 2nd and 3rd gen diffs to rotate creating issues. I don't run one on mine and I'm sure that others will chime in about how they don't run them either.

Ha, yep. As "rust free" as it may be, spray those fasteners with some PB blaster or similar every day for a few days before as it's amazing how fast rust actually does set in.

As to mod day, all I want to do is put the 35's back on the LandCruiser- tires I ordered are back ordered - and hook up the LED lights up front. Bonus if we get the head unit out of the Tacoma and into the LandCruiser.

I will be soaking them starting today until Mod Day! And I am handy with wiring so il help out with what I can. And Diff drop everyone seems to do it since it rips the CV boots on 1st gens.

Understand and do recommend it for most 1st gen situations however, I'll let this guy explain a little bit about 2nd gens.

I don't think il ever off-road this thing to that lvl honestly. I do some trials here and there but I don't attempt climbing stuff with it yet. Reason being it's too nice to scratch up, I hate to damage it when it's in such good shape. If I go to sell it one day I would like to get a good price for it still. You guys will see for a 03 this truck is solid.

Off road only. Thinking about ordering another set for the LandCruiser. Want me to get some for you at the same time to save shipping?
